My Life in Recipes is a charming look at Joan Nathan's life, embellished with treasures: recipes. Nathan's recipes have long been the mainstays for many households, mine included. Cooks of all experience level, whether seasoned or raw, will appreciate the quality of the recipes and be amused by the story of this remarkable cook.

This is a treasure -- one that will be enjoyed by both those familiar and not with Joan Nathan. There are lots of recipes here -- over 100 -- and some are classics, but there are a lot of new, innovative dishes as well. The recipes are surrounded with stories, history, and memories from Nathan's long and distinguished culinary career.

This is a lovely look into Joan Nathan's life and how these recipes are intertwined with her memories.
I love so many of these recipes and can't wait to try many of them.
These stories sparked my own memories of times where similar recipes were used within my family.

A great look into history through recipes.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC.
