In my house we are big Narwhal and Jelly fans.
The biggest message to take away from this story is to brush your teeth or too many sweets might make them fall out. Who knew donuts would make your tusk/tooth fall out. :-D
I read this with my daughter and she was laughing at some of the antics Narwhal and Jelly get up to. They know how to tell a story and keep you engaged.

A sweet (pun intended!) addition to the Narwhal and Jelly series! The weaving in of facts about jellyfish and narwhals while maintaining the characterization and plot worked well. I think the message about the importance of brushing one's teeth was not so didactic as to annoy a child reader.

As with all the narwhal and jelly books, I had to read this with my son. He loves them, I think at this point mostly because he has a thing for narwhals, and the series is funny and cute so I love them too. This was no exception. In this book narwhal’s tusk is not looking so great so he and jelly go on a journey to figure out how to fix it. Once they remember that Narwhal’s tusk is actually a tooth, they think to visit all sorts of toothy friends, who help them on their way. It’s a fun, short book that’s great for teaching dental hygiene as well as just having a great time!

Absolutely cute and charming, Ben Clanton is a wonderful human, and his genuine humour shines through in this latest instalment of Narwhal and Jelly. As always, there is puns to make you giggle, facts you may not know, and a lesson for kids. This will be a great addition for parents looking for fun ways to encourage their kids to brush their teeth.

Narwhal’s Sweet Tooth (A Narwhal and Jelly Book #9) by Ben Clayton. This is a very cute children’s book. I loved the illustrations and the story.

I read this to my kindergarten son, and he giggled almost the entire book. He is a very reluctant reader, so I am constantly challenged when it comes to find books that will hold his attention long enough to read the entire book. He loved this so much that we have started the other books in this series.

Another funny, educational addition to the Narwhal and Jelly series! Clanton’s latest graphic novel lets reads dive into the informational pool of the tusk tooth while Narwhal, Jelly and their ocean friends explore the idea of expressing our feelings. This is sure to be another hit and a great pick for kids who love to laugh.

Narwahle and jelly are two goofy friends who are discovering a lot about teeth in this book. Narwhale realizes all the sugary treats she has consumed have made her tooth crack and weaken. Jelly helps to try to resolve the issue and they both discover some fun exciting ways to take care of their teeth.

This book is a fun way to help kids understand the importance of brushing their teeth. They even learn about many other sea creatures as well. This book is the perfect bookshelf addition for any kiddo. The art is adorable, colorful and my kids love the goofy relationship between jelly and Narwhale.

Narwhal and Jelly are very popular characters in my house (and classroom). This one was incredibly enjoyable but the best feedback I can offer if from my 7 year old. He loves the 'shark facts' and how funny Narwhal is when trying to frown. We love it and are already anticipating the next one!

Another amazing Narwhal and Jelly book!! We are huge fans and my 5.5 year old daughter absolutely loved Narwhal's Sweet Tooth. I loved the message and hints about taking care of your teeth, brushing properly and eating too many sweet all while still telling a funny and entertaining story!
Whether you're a long time fan or a new Narwhal reader, this will be a must read (and must add to the collection on our shelf!)

My girls (8 and 10) have enjoyed reading about Narwhal’s adventures over the last few years. Narwhal’s Sweet Tooth was another hit! It was also aptly timed as we’ve just gone through the holiday season full of extra sweets with a child who doesn’t like to brush her teeth. Here’s hoping Narwhal’s tusk problems might help her focus on brushing better. The author did a great job of teaching about tooth care while still make the story fun and silly. I suspect we’ll buy this when it becomes available. Maybe the tooth fairy will drop it off instead of money next time she visits!

A sweet book with a bit of education in the form of learning about what makes a narwhal a narwhal, as well as how to take care of your teeth! This is a must add to a library collection for early readers, with an approachable and welcoming format.

My daughter loves the Narwhal and Jelly series and was so excited to get to read this early. She began reading these when she was younger, and even though she reads middle grade novels now she loves to come back to this series. Highly recommend this series as one the parents and kids of many ages can enjoy together.

In book #9, the same formula of cute humor and life lesson appears. It talks about the importance of keeping your teeth clean, but it also weaves in important messages of body acceptance and still being "you" even if something on the external appearance changes. Also loved the Toothsome Tidbits - fun facts are such a hit.

Best buddies Narwhal and Jelly are back. These books have always been a favorite of mine and my daughter to read together. Narwhal has a problem with his tooth. Jelly talks Narwhal through what could have been the reason for his tooth problem. The story has the perfect amount of education about teeth and how to take care of them. I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of this series.

This is a great addition to the Narwhal and Jelly series, with friendship, silliness, and, more surprisingly, personal hygiene. The fun facts about sea creatures’ teeth is very interesting.

Oh man, another cute graphic novel in the Narwhal and Jelly series. Having been a dental hygienist, I love that this book focuses on teeth! I love that Ben Clanton tries to fit a bunch of facts into his novels, sometimes, I don't know the facts and I love searching the information on the internet to see if the information is accurate.

Looking forward to reading many more Narwhal and Jelly adventures in the future.
