Another fun read for the Women's Murder Club! Really enjoyed this book, and this series as a whole. If you haven't read these books yet, please give them a chance! As always, a huge thank you to James Patterson, and team, for allowing me the chance to read this one! This series has my heart.

I LOVE the Women's Murder Club series and I was so excited to get this advanced copy of the 24th book! It did not dissapoint. I almost wish there was more time spent on the court storyline because it was so intriguing. This was one of those books where the short chapters and suspenseful endings kept me going and telling myself "just one more chapter" only to be up all night reading. I really enjoyed this book and anyone who likes this series will agree. I received a free copy of this book from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

4.5⭐ Just like every other book from the Women's Murder Club, I thought this book was great! I've loved every one so far, but this one really held my interest more than the previous stories. I love how there are 3 main story arcs, Yuki prosecuting in a trial for something that happened at the restaurant where she and her friends were having dinner, Joe working on an IT ransomware case where a hospital and all its patients are vulnerable, and Lindsay is working a murder case that's related to a cold case, and another person related to the case ends up dying.

The group of friends in the Women's Murder Club have become as close as any tight knit family over the years. I love how they support each other through all of life's trials and tribulations.

As with all Patterson stories, the chapters are short, but a lot happens on every single page. And with three prominent stories, the focus jumps from one story arc to the next every few chapters, making me feel like there's a mini cliff hanger at every re-focus. It's a great strategy to keep us reading.

And, yay, for the ending! I'm so happy for them! (Read it to find out who and what!)

This is my favorite of the 24 books so far! I can't wait to see what else the group of friends get up to and how Joe and Lindsay handle life's changes moving forward.

This book follows the four members of the Women's Murder Club. There were three separate storylines involved, and I certainly loved one more than the other two, but in typical Patterson fashion they were all very easy to follow and fast-paced. The chapters were short, there was only the detail that you needed, with a little bit of insight into each member of the club's personal lives as they move forward. I enjoyed it as much as any Patterson novel. I read it for the quick chapters, it's a great palate cleanser in between other reads, and it was quick moving and entertaining. Certainly what I expected and hoped for in this most recent installment, and I will certainly look forward to the next.

The 24th Hour (Women's Murder Club) is a fast paced read that has you guessing as to who killed the celebrity couple in cold blood.

Lindsey is determined to get justice for the family and bring the killer in before he or she strikes again.

The other aspect has Yuki prosecuting a high profile rape case where the victim has multiple personalities.

Getting back together with the Women's Murder Club is like visiting old friends and I could not put the book down.

James Patterson and Maxine Paetro once again had me reading into the night and now eagerly awaiting the next book in the Women's Murder Club.

This is another enjoyable, quick read in the entertaining series which I’ve dipped in and out of, if the thought of 24 is daunting! The characters in this are really good, they’re comfortable together as the dialogue shows, there’s trust, and they complement each other in terms of personality and skills. You get a good insight into what makes them tick and there’s just enough of their personal life to see another side of them.

Loved the ending of this one! I’ve read all the previous books in this series and I felt like this one was on par with the others. I love following the stories of four strong female friends. The crimes in this book were also interesting. I look forward to seeing what is in store for these characters in future books.

Sergeant Lindsay Boxer, Medical Examiner Claire Washburn, ADA Yuki Castellano and crime reporter Cindy Thomas are all friends. They are also known as The Womens Murder Club.
When a WMC lunch is interrupted by a scream, Lindsay is first on the scene. Claire is called in to check on the victim and Yuki takes on the victims case of assault. The victim is not the most reliable witness and Yuki is about to take on one of her most challenging cases.
Meanwhile Lindsay and her partner Ritchie are put on the case when a high profile man is shot down in the street. Add to this murder is that the victims wife was almost identically shot down 6 months later and the case is still unsolved. The pressure is on to put these two cases to bed.

This is book #24 in the series and it does not disappoint.

This the next book in the Women’s Murder Club series. All of the women are included in the story as people try to figure out who killed this wife and husband. There are very few clues to go on and it takes a lot to put the small pieces together. Another great book by James Patterson!

this has that mystery element that I was looking for and enjoyed how strong everything flowed together. The characters felt like they were supposed to and enjoyed how they tried to solve what was going on. James Patterson and Maxine Paetro have a great writing style and left me wanting to read more from this team.

The collaborative effort of James Patterson and Maxine Paetro with high hopes. And indeed, their joint venture yielded a good book, though one I found to be a peculiar mix of fascination and frustration. The storyline presented by Patterson and Paetro was undeniably intriguing, each plot twist leaving me eager for more. The characters they introduced were a vibrant bunch, well-developed and remarkably relatable. From the enigmatic protagonist to the colorful supporting cast, each character added depth and dimension to the tale.

Yet, as I delved deeper into the narrative, I couldn't shake off a nagging sense of disjointedness. Despite the undeniable charm of each character and storyline, there seemed to be a glaring absence of cohesion. While the characters were ostensibly connected by their friendships, the lack of meaningful links between their individual narratives left me feeling adrift. It was as if I was reading not one cohesive story, but rather a collection of disparate tales haphazardly strung together.

I found myself pondering whether this book could be better perceived as a series of interconnected novellas rather than a singular cohesive work. Each storyline was so self-contained that it could easily stand alone as its own narrative. This segmentation of the plotlines, while serving to maintain interest and momentum, also hindered my ability to fully immerse myself in the overarching story. This could begin four separate series based on each story's characters.

This has brought Lindsay full circle. There is so much going on, definitely never a dull moment. We have a rape, cold blooded murder, job offers,a nd marriage what more can you ask for.? There really is so much I want to say but don't want to ruin it for you.

I loved this book.

I’ve read all the Women’s Murder Club books and have enjoyed as the characters develop and mature into their careers with spouses and children. The four best friends have provided hours of entertainment as they solve multiple mysteries, try cases and report them. With 24 books in the series, these are best read sequentially for the building history as that plays into the personalities.

This is the next installment in the Women's Murder Club and a must read for me. I love these books and have fallen in love with the characters as well. James Patterson and Maxine Paetro have captured many readers with these ladies and I don't know how they keep coming up with great stories that keep us begging for more from the Women's Murder Club!

The Women's Murder Club is getting together to celebrate Claire's birthday at their usual restaurant when a scream from the upstairs area interrupts the celebration. Of course Lindsay runs to see what is going on and finds a young lady cowered in the corner with bruises and half dressed. With only one way out, Lindsay quickly realizes that the perpetrator that did this to her has to be close by. When she looks around, she finds Tyler Cates naked and quickly apprehends him. Tyler insists that Mary Ellen Hayes, the poor young lady cowered in the corner set him up and asked him to have sex with her. Of course the rest of the Women's Murder Club is there to back Lindsay in no time.

What is interesting about Mary Ellen is that she has a disorder that lets her slip into different personalities when she is triggered or put in certain situations. It is her way of dealing with things. When there are two sides to what happened with the whole situation, will Yuki be able to get to the bottom of what really happened with Tyler and Mary Ellen?

Meanwhile, Lindsay is on the case of solving a double homicide of a husband and wife. They were killed a few months apart from each other but Lindsay is on the case to figure things out. There is a lot going on in this book and keeps you turning the pages to find out what happened with all of it. I always enjoy reading about the women in the Women's Murder Club and going along with them as they continue to live their lives and do their work.

The short chapters in true Patterson style makes for quick reading and easy to sneak in a chapter here and there when you have a short break. I love that about his books too. I know you will enjoy reading this new chapter in the Women's Murder Club as I did. I really hope that these books keep coming! I enjoy them so much.

I love the women in this series, so I think that's why I keep reading it. Overall, I was a little disappointed in this one. There were 3 different cases going on, and in such a short book, I don't feel like any of them were really explored in detail very well. Everything was wrapped up on each on really quick. I love the short chapters and it's a super easy book to read, but I think I'm getting a little bored with this series.

Another good one in this series! There were several cases going on in this one, including murder and cyber attacks. I love how the authors weave in all the stories and characters and keep me engaged with short chapters. The Women’s Murder Club had a lot going on, including a really happy ending. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I have read all the Women’s Murder Club books, so I was excited to read this next installment, The 24th Hour by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. The book follows three stories, an assault in a restaurant locker room, an online cyber attack investigated by Lindsay's husband, Joe Molinari, and the double murder of a wealthy couple six months apart.

Overall, it was okay. However, I am starting to get a bit bored with this series, and the books just don't seem to be the same as the earlier books in this series.

I would still recommend this book to fans of this series and these authors.
