Another hit in this series. Three storylines were alternated throughout the book. Each storyline filled with much mystery and suspense. This is a book which I would recommend to all.

Thanks to NetGalley and Little, Brown and Company for this Advanced Reader’s Copy of The 24th Hour by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro due to be published May 6, 2024.
I was so excited to get this book – I have read all the Women’s Murder Club books and have been waiting since May 2023 for this one to come out!
The book begins, as most of them do, with Sergeant Lindsay Boxer, ADA Yuki Castellano, ME Claire Washburn, and writer/reporter Cindy Thomas having a relaxing meal. Within a few minutes there is an assault and they all spring into action.
There are three stories in this book – the assault, an online cyber attack investigated by Joe Molinari, Lindsay’s FBI husband, and the double murder of a wealthy couple.
The 24th Hour bounces back and forth between the three stories – just enough to keep you hanging. I love how most of James Patterson’s chapters are short – so easy to read. Also, the four Murder Club women are totally in love with their spouses or significant others but are strong independent women – I love that about them.
As usual, this James Patterson/Maxine Paetro book kept me riveted and engaged the entire time and was enthralling. I will be looking forward to book 25! If you are interested, I recommend you start with 1st to Die which introduces the characters – it won’t take you long to catch up to The 24th Hour!

Thank you to @netgalley, @RandomHouseUK and @JamesPatterson for this ARC. Lindsay Boxer and the Women's Murder Club are having dinner when a woman screams from the break room. Lindsey finds a half conscious woman and a suspect. Six months later, Yuki is meeting this same man in court while Lindsey is trying to track down the killer to a husband and wife that were killed months apart. Joe is trying to find the culprit to ransomware on a local hospital. Can they figure all their cases out before more damage is done? You can never go wrong with Patterson or Women's Murder Club! #The24thHour #TheWomensMurderClub #JamesPatterson #RandomHouseUK #Feb2024

Lindsay and the crew are at it again. The 24th Hour is the 24th book in the Women’s Murder Club series by James Patterson/Maxine Paetro. In this installment , there are three different cases, a rape/assault, a cyber attack on a hospital, and a series of related murders to investigate. We get to revisit all of our favorite characters while they neatly wrap up the three cases and the book concludes with a happy ending.

I have read all the books in the Women’s Murder Club series and they are always entertaining. If you are looking for a good-paced, fast easy read with likable characters and interesting plots, I think you will enjoy this series. This latest installment of the Women’s Murder Club lives up to the reputation of its predecessors. Happy reading.

Excellent addition to the series. Complicated murder investigation with many suspects all interlinked. The main characters keep growing and it is good to share their lives. Satisfying ending.

Member of ‘The Women’s Murder Club’ are out for a special luncheon with cake and candles at Xe Sogni, one of the best and most expensive places in San Francisco’s - as they are celebrating Claire’s a birthday and an upcoming wedding,

Their lunch is interrupted with a woman screaming loud enough for the roof to lift. They jump and immediately questioned the waiter he states – second floor - staff changing room. Lindsay races upstairs and finds a woman, barely alive also her attacker and makes an arrest. The victim is Mary Elena Hayes and her attacked is Tyler Cates who states he was set up.

While treating Mary Elena, she immediately states- “I am Loretta”.
We find out that Mary Elena has DID- Dissociative Identity Disorder
Most of us know it as ‘Multiple Personality Disorder –
Does anyone besides me remember -Sybil?

Lindsay Boxer is a Sergeant with SFPD - makes the arrest.
Claire Washburn is the medical Examiner and she examines the victim.
Yuki Castellano is an Assistant District Attorney and she takes the case.
Cindy Thomas Crime Writer and is ready to cover it.

Aww I am a big fan of the “The Women’s Murder Club’. I do love several Patterson’s series and these ladies are my favorite. I believe Maxine Paetro adds the perfect touch to these characters. My favorite is Lindsay Boxer. But I love when the whole gang contributes.

Love the trademark short, chapter plus the action but most of all I love these characters.

Yep! Another enjoyable read!

Want to thank NetGalley and Little Brown and Company for this early eGalley.
Publishing Release Date was for May 6, 2024.

This is the latest installment in the Women's Murder Club. All your favorites are back: Lindsay Boxer, Claire Washburn, Yuki Castellano and Cindy Thomas. They are in a restaurant celebrating Cindy's upcoming wedding when a woman is assaulted. Yuki leads the prosecution on that case as Lindsay chases down a killer. Fast paced and typical Patterson.

A new Murder Club book is just what I needed! And the women do not disappoint. So good I devoured it in one day.

Lindsay, Claire, Yuki, and Cindy are catching a drink at Susie’s when a scream from upstairs breaks up the party.

Interrupting what appears to be an assault and rape. Arresting the man may be the easy part, as the victim has more than a few personalities living inside her head.

We have Lindsay trying to solve a very odd murder case, Cindy is having bridal panic, Yuki trying a case that keeps getting worse, and Claire is testifying.

Everyone is busy in this one and we even have a nice storyline for Joe, and I’m happy to see how this one ended!

Always a pleasure!
