Simi and Jack are back! Initially, when I began this sequel to To Have & To Heist, I was so upset to see how everyone's lives ended up after the events of the first book. But as the story got rolling, all the things I loved about the first book popped back into this one! Desai's characters are the best! To me, they feel real and flawed and at times, completely crazy. It was great to get the gang back together as well as adding in some others to the pack. I will say that the only part of her writing that I don't enjoy are Jack's chapters that he gets occasionally because it tends to be in first person and is typically a running list of what we missed or what we needed to get caught up on. I get that it is a way to give the reader more information about him but it brings me out of it every time! I both hope Desai allows her characters to be happy and writes more about them, which typically isn't possible with this kind of book. I very much enjoyed this series as all I wanted was a fun, romantic spy thriller to get past all the dark mysteries I was reading.

Simi and her ragamuffin crew are BACK! I adore this series - and my fingers and toes are crossed there will be a third book!
I adore the banter, the heists, the shenanigans, and the romance.
I will say, that I am a huge fan of this series so far and could see it being a great television show in the making, but this second book seemed to drag on a little bit for me...some of the plot could have been trimmed down. BUT, still a fantastic read. Bring on book three!

Thank you Netgalley and Berkley for an ARC! All opinions are my own.

This was a delightful follow up novel! The spice level increased from the first one which was fun. I love this zany band of misfits and would happily read 5 more books about their hijinks if they were as delightful as this one. It was wrapped up nicely in a way that if this was last, I would be very satisfied by this ending, as well.

I love a good heist and this novel had some ups and downs, but it's the perfect summer read! I was hooked from the first chapter, it really reminded me of a Ryan Gosling monologue and is delivered with flair from Jack our lead male character. Once the POV switched to Simi our female lead, we had to meander heavily through an ensemble of characters that at many times pulled me out of the narrative. The balance was a bit off and the narrative also re-hashes material from book one, please note ‘Til Heist Do Us Part is a sequel to To Have and to Heist. But once you get into the groove of the story you're fully invested.

This book gave me serious 'Ocean's and Fast & the Furious' feels, with the banter, great chemistry, and action. Thank you NetGalley and Berkley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to Berkley for this eARC. This book was fine. It was an okay sequel to a pretty good book! There was just a few too many instances that our main characters were able to get out of, it made the impact of them being in danger less severe. There was also just a few too many characters, it was a little bit all over the place. It was completely fun and fine!

If you're looking for a thrilling, action-packed, and humorous read, "Til Heist Do Us Part" by Sara Desai is the perfect book for you. The story picks up a year after Simi Chopra and her team of misfits pulled off a high-wire diamond necklace heist with the help of sexy rogue Jack Danger. However, they're back to their struggling ways, and the Chicago Mafia boss demands that they return the jewels, plus interest, or face dire consequences.

Things take a turn for the worse when Simi discovers that the necklace is in the hands of Jack's nemesis, a highly-skilled and vengeful master thief who is not afraid to use blackmail to get what she wants. Simi must work with her team to pull off a con to retrieve the necklace, all while dealing with her rocky relationship with Jack, a rival thief, and a detective hot on her tail.

The book is an engaging page-turner with well-developed characters and a plot that will keep you hooked until the end. The author's writing style is witty and humorous, and the dialogue between the characters is snappy and entertaining. The book is a perfect blend of romance, humor, and suspense, with a dash of action and adventure.

Overall, "Til Heist Do Us Part" is a fun and entertaining read that will leave you satisfied and wanting more. The story is well-crafted, the characters are likeable and relatable, and the plot is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end.

3.5 rounding down.

It doesn't seem like you have to read the previous book (To Have and To Heist) but I highly recommend reading that before tackling this one. Some things wouldn't make as much sense and you'd miss out on a lot of fun.

I think I enjoyed the first one the best, but 'Til Heist Do Us Part still had that comedic flair and pulse-racing heist moments. It wasn't as connected and... realistic? (even though none of this is realistic but still) compared to the first; I think the heist and the capers in this book were fun, but they felt quick. I wasn't as invested as I had been before, and I'm not sure why.

That said, it was very interesting to read, and I struggled to put the book down once I had gotten into it. While I did start the book not looking forward to the relationship drama, I was still rooting for the two by the end.

Some of the characters didn't make much sense and I wish there was a bit more group cohesion - I hate continuing to refer to the first one, but the crew felt more together - and I saw the plot twist coming because one character had literally no purpose unless there was a twist. (Actually, I was prepared to complain about the character until I made it to a specific point, and while it wasn't as clean and built up, I was glad something happened)

The heist was fun, the characters were funny, and the romance (though closed-door) was sweet.

thank you Netgalley for the arc

This book was so different than anything else out there. I felt like it took me a bit to get into but once the story really got started, I couldn’t put it down. I thought a couple scenes seemed a little out of place while reading them but it mostly circled back into the story. Simi felt relatable but had a “dark side” which made her character really fun. I felt like I didn’t understand a lot of the background with Simi and Jack but did not realize that this book was a sequel. I didn’t feel like I was completing missing out on major details so I feel like anyone can pick it up without reading the first one. Overall, I enjoyed the book and thought the plot was so different which truly makes it worth the read. Thanks to Netgalley for giving me an early copy for a review!

Sara Desai has the effortlessly cozy romantic vibe I enjoy in romance, when I don't want to push myself or think to hard. This isn't a bad thing, and this book is the a little more action packed fast paced narrative that gives me Meg Cabot vibes. I will always love cozying up to her books and will always rember this slightly different adventure well. Her characters are always memorable and make you care about them

It was such a fun ride! I've only read one book prior to this that including underground networks or thieves doing heists. So it was fun to read this one! I'm not going to lie, Simone was entertaining from her rich and snooty bits but her funny fashion things as to why she wore what brand to the warehouse and helped them scout. Simi and Jack are just so much. Their back and forth truly made this so much more worthwhile. I believed they were great together, and from the beginning, I was hoping (with Jack) that'd it would happen again for them to be together! Gage is the muscle and sexy/tough. All of the key players in this truly had their own parts and personality that together made this such a fascinating ride. I'm not going to lie. Bits of this made me STRESSED during the Heist and other situations, but I loved every moment of it. I was kept on the edge of my seat, hoping for the best but stressing and preparing for the worst. Such a great read!

I received this ARC from NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group to read/review. All of the statements above are my true opinions after fully reading this book.

I wasn't aware this was a part of a series if I would get access to the first book I would then read it

‘Til Heist Do Us Part is a sequel to To Have and to Heist (which I didn’t realize until after I started, whoops). It follows up with Simi Chopra, Jack Danger, and a whole cast of lovable weirdos a year after they pulled off a diamond necklace heist. Now a Chicago mafia boss wants the diamond back plus interest, and the group must get back together to get it back from Jack’s nemesis.

I followed along well enough for not having read the first book but I definitely got the sense that I was missing little things. I am sure I would have enjoyed it much more with additional context that I did not have. But that says a lot because it was still a great read and I loved it!

It was a bit over the top at times (which I think may be intentional) but also so fun that I didn’t really mind having to suspend my disbelief. The banter was great, the story was exciting, and the romance was sooo good. I was stressed. I was laughing. I adored this and am so hopeful that there will be a third!

Thank you very much to NetGalley and Berkley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

'Til Heist Do Us Part is a highly recommended book from me that offers a light and fun read with intriguing elements and a fantastic cast of characters.

The chemistry between Simi and Jack is captivating, and the hilarious adventure they embark on is thoroughly enjoyable. If you like the Oceans movies, then I'd definitely recommend this book to you! And those looking for a solid romance that is engaging yet light-hearted will particularly enjoy this book.

The story follows Simi and Jack as they navigate a new heist with the help of Simi's misfit crew, promising an entertaining and engaging read. However, I do wish we could see more development from the romance but it was either a very fun read and thoroughly appreciated the storyline and the characters!

Overall, this book is a must-read for anyone who appreciates a good story with well-developed characters and plenty of humor.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me an arc for an exchange for an honest review!

This was such a great high stakes romantic caper that I highly enjoyed and can’t wait to share my full thoughts and review soon.

Rollicking good fun, Sara Desai’s latest reintroduces readers to the beloved characters and antics from the first book. Simi is as kind and gutsy as ever, Jack as smoldering and unpredictable (still, somehow, both a total ass who sucks at communicating, and an absolute dreamboat who will make you swoon), Chloe as sweet, but terrifyingly loyal, Gage as ready to rage over anyone threatening Chloe, Anil as clever and naïve, Emma as wild and full-speed-ahead, and Cristian as—well—Cristian.

‘TIL HEIST DO US PART also brings new spotlights to several side characters (I dare you not to instantly adore Simone!!!) while also revitalizing classic heist tropes with a fresh approach that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Serving up just the right amount of spice and wit, ‘TIL HEIST DO US PART is another clear win for Desai.

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for providing this book, with my honest review below.

I LOVED ‘Til Heist Do Us Part. I cannot recommend it enough and will be picking up the first book and saving it for an upcoming trip because I know it’ll take my mind off the long journey (though this can easily be read as a standalone, as was done by me). Light and fun with intrigue this has the best cast of characters, I hope the alluded to third book is to follow because I’m certain this is a series I’ll adore. As the book description outlines, readers follow Simi and Jack as they get themselves into a pickle following their last heist with the only solution presented requiring gathering Simi’s misfit crew to take on a new heist. The chemistry is everything but even more than that I loved the hilarious adventure.

If you love the Oceans movies and a good time, this is absolutely the book for you. If you love solid romances that are light but pull you in, also the book for you. And a great cast of characters that keep you snorting back laughter? Book for you. All said, this book is for anyone and everyone who enjoys great books.

Desai’ writing is very engaging, and she masterfully captures the depth of the emotional agitation that people may tend to experience every now and then. Also, I loved how this novel clearly excels in its portrayal of human vulnerability and the strength it takes to navigate the complexities of love, making it a compelling read.
