‘Til Heist Do Us Part by Sara Desai is a heart robbing action-packed, fast & furiously paced romantic suspense. This is a heist-filled romance with the best group of misfits found family that will certainly steal your heart.
This is a follow up to To Have & to Heist by this author, but it could easily be read as a standalone. Although, I think both novels are wonderful reads, so I recommend both.
Til Heist Do Us Part is great for fans of…

This writing style is quick-witted & rapid speed is catnip for my ADHD brain. This was quite the rollercoaster of an adventure & it was such a fun novel. I love the chaos of this story & the humor mixed into the charming writing. It is perfectly rounded out with the emotions & heart that have you caring about these characters.
I am so curious & excited to see what this author does next. I will happily read whatever they write!
Massive thanks to NetGalley & Berkley Publishing for the gifted copy, which I voluntarily read & reviewed.

An action-packed adventure! I loved the second-chance aspect of this, especially where the main character has to decide for herself what she really wants in a relationship, to be bored and safe or to be seen and be on an adventure.

What a fun book to end the summer with! It was great to be back with Simi and crew for another heist. Desai does a fantastic job of really fleshing out secondary characters, no easy feat with such a large ensemble cast.

I chose to unfortunately DNF this book at about 50%. I understand the essence of this story surrounds a heist and heist crews are not small, but for me, there were far too many characters. This story was ultimately a continuation of book one and having read it over a year ago, it was hard for me to remember all that occurred. Overall, I didn't find myself enjoying the sequel as much as I'd hoped.
Thank you Berkley for the advanced copy!

Simi thought she got out of the heist business until a mafia boss demanded she and her crew pay them back. Now Simi Is back trying to figure out how to keep everyone safe and manage to get the money. The crew is all over the place and must rely on Simi’s ex-boyfriend, Jack. Simi and Jack’s relationship had to take a back seat when Jack up and left. Now he is back trying to beg for a second chance, but first thing first…they need to get the money.
This is not the first book in the series. I know it is not listed as one, and I almost didn’t realize it until I had to question how the characters felt so familiar to me. If you read the first book, you may feel more comfortable with the storyline. I started to root for Simi and Jack to be in another romantic entanglement. However, another person sometimes tries to make a play for Simi.
There is a lot of fade-to-black, which I’m never a fan of. I want to get a feel of the intimacy in my story. The romance and passion fell to the back burner of this storyline, so having no intimacy felt odd. Not to mention that there is almost a weird insta-lust/love connection with the characters, especially when the adrenaline was running. I wanted the love to be more organic and not hurried and rushed. I wanted to see them in a more normal setting to gauge if the love was real.
There is tons of action and drama to keep readers’ interest. This is not a typical romance. A lot is going on. There is mystery, action, and even murder to help the story along. While I didn’t enjoy this one, and this series is not my favorite, I’m mildly curious to see what’s next. The author sets up the ending for future stories.
Overall, if you really like quick and adventurous stories with a comedic undertone, this is for you.

A heist, a wedding and nonstop hijinks make this a fun read. Simi will do whatever it takes to clear her best friend’s name including a jewelry heist. She’s on a run of bad luck and things are not looking great for her but when she sets her sights on Jack her luck may be changing. This was a wild ride with a fun romance!

I've enjoyed Sara Desai in the past, but this entry fell flat for me. While it might be my fault as I didn't read the first entry in this duo, I do think that there's plenty of explanation and getting to know the characters. Jack is the professional thief and love interest (well, they're on the rocks at the beginning of the story, but they get their HEA) and Simi is an event planner (she plans some hysterical celebrations of life). With a ragtag crew they deal with the thefts of a diamond and a necklace and trying to replace them. This gets them all mixed up with the mafia, the very wealthy, biker gangs and double crossing characters.
Strengths: the humor, the characters
Weaknesses: the plot was a lot of telling not showing and I've read plenty of paranormal romance and historical romance with real action sequences throughout that are heavily described and balanced with the romantic elements of the story. This was just a lot of talking about the plans or recapping what went down but not any description of the action. So think "we were surrounded" rather than describing the ambush and what went down. Also, the few chapters that were from Jack's POV were in second person which was... a choice. Usually I'm not a fussy reader about POV and first vs. third person narration but that really threw me.
I'm sure if you enjoyed the first book, you'll really like this one. It just didn't fully land for me. I'll read from Desai again. Thank you to the publisher, Berkley, and NetGalley for the ARC.

I was really excited for this book because it sounded interesting. From the first chapter, completely written in 2nd person pov, I was not into the book. I gave it 2 more chapters and it really wasn’t for me. I found the characters annoying, especially the love interest, and I didn’t care about them or the heist. After dreading reading this for many days, I have decided to not spend my time reading a book I’m not enjoying.
Thank you for providing a copy for me to read.

Okay but this book was so much fun!!
I wasn’t aware it belonged to a series, but it honestly wasn’t hard to catch on. I will definitely have to go back and read the first one and then read this one again just for continuity.
Regardless! There was so much mystery, thrill, tension, and comedy, you didn’t want to put it down, there was definitly a lot going on, but in a way that kept you hooked.
Couldn’t help but giggle and kick my feet when Simi and Jack interacted. This was a second chance romance, which is honestly one of my favorite tropes, so the TENSION and banter while they were working together was just the best to watch unfold.
Looking forward to reading more by Desai.

Even though both books can be read as standalones, I definitely recommend reading both! Not only are they fun, entertaining reads but you’ll also feel more connected to the characters when you read To Have and To Heist first.
Because besides the thrill, the best thing about a heist is the rag tag crew and I just adored Simi’s. Chloe and Simi are best friend goals, everyone deserves that type of friendship in their life. As well as the rest of the crew have that lovable found family vibe!
As the cherry on top of it all we got a great romance storyline with Jack and Simi. The way they met, their banter, their chemistry it was just perfect!
To sum it all up: thrilling heists, a rag tag crew, and romance, what more could you want? If you’re looking for a fun quick read, then these are the books for you!

Unfortunately I did not want these 2 to get together. Jack was an opportunist and honestly left people high and dry when it mattered the most. Honestly it was not what I was expecting as a heist book but the mafia high stakes made me keep going.

’Til Heist Do Us Part by Sara Desai
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / Pages: 366 / Genre: Romcom
A year after stealing a $25 million diamond necklace, the mafia boss they stole it from wants it back with interest. So Simi must get the crew back together to steal it back, but she and sexy Jack Danger are on the outs thanks to his former colleague and lover who either wants him back or wants him dead.
This sequel is just as fun, exciting, and sexy as To Have and to Heist was. I loved all the characters—Simone in particular, who would “never wear Gucci to a decrepit warehouse,” but did bring her Balenciaga trash pouch (Google it—it’s hilarious). Full of quick-witted dialogue and fast-paced action, along with fiercely loyal family and friends, this book has me wanting to read a lot more from Sara Desai.
Thank you, @NetGalley, @BerkleyPub, @BerkleyRomance, and @SaraDesaiWrites for my gifted copy. I loved it!

Rating: 3.75 stars, rounded up
This was a lot of fun! It was filled with a lot of humor and I am always a fan of a good heist book! The author did a great job knowing when to use humor to diffuse a situation but also when to avoid humor in order to allow the tense moments to shine.
My main issue with this book was Simi. I just didn't vibe with her and every time a chapter in her POV would happen, I would read fast in order to get to Jack's POV. She just wasn't my favorite FMC.

loveeeee sara desai so much I loved the dating plan and the singles table so much, and I was so excited for this book. it's a romance but it's also got heists (who knew that would be something I'm into) and jewel thievery and murder and the mafia!! i also love the concept of the first book being a "how they got together" only to be followed up with a "they broke up but get BACK together" so unique and interesting.
jack, my dearest, he's not even a "bad boy" per se... but I would change my stance on bad boys for him. loves simi, does crime, but can't have both so he obviously chooses the girl but his past life won't let him go. normally I don't agree with blonde men but I agree with jack forever and always!!
simi, love my girl, and honestly if I was in her position I'd do the same thing too! calls it off with the man she loves because he can't give her what she wants, and I admire her for that but she is weak for jack (and vice versa). so much drama, so much plot, so many twists, so many things that go awry, so many near deaths... this book has got it all: cute romance of exes back to lovers and a cross-country heist to save their lives

5 Stars Thank you so much Berkley and Sara Desai for the ARC! 'Til Heist Do Us Part is non-stop action and a truly fun and adventurous plot. I love the idea of MCs who pull off heists and have never read anything like it before. A great balance of action and romance!

After their memorable and chaotic first heist, life has not gone as smoothly as Simi and the crew had hoped. All of them have used up their money and opportunity and are basically back to where they started. But when the brother of the mob boss they put in jail comes to Simi threatening revenge the crew must come together once again. With Jack back in town and his ex Clare part of the heist, Simi must confront her relationship with Jack. Will they be able to pull off the heist and get back in the Mob’s good books?
With laugh out loud characters and unending entertainment this crime romance made my heart so happy!

There’s nothing I love more than a good heist. 💕
Simi & friends are back and better than ever! I loved every minute of this caper from circus funerals to biker gangs to shipping ports to faking deaths and back again. This was an absolute shenanigan filled delight!
I’m going to need more of these @saradesaiwrites!
Special thanks to @berkleyromance for the ARC. This book is out today!

Another hilarious fantastic adventure with Simi's motley crew pulling off another heist. Jack and Simi break up much to the delight of a certain handsome detective that has a crush on Simi. One of Jack's former female associates is not disappointed either and unfortunately they need to work together to get what they want. I adore Simi's feisty spirit and her devotion to her friends. Jack is a bit of a rogue, but I can't help being a little in love with him. The secondary characters have captured my heart too, and these books are on my favorites shelf. I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Soneela Nankani and Andrew Eiden, and they are simply amazing as they voice so many characters so well.

I'm gonna just start out by saying I did not read the first book. But I don't feel like I needed to cause, this one did a pretty solid job of telling me what happened in it.
Anyway, I did not like Simi. And I was incredibly disappointed the whole book is basically in her POV. I was bamboozled by the book being opened with Jack's POV. BAMBOOZLED! I would have preferred not to have had that chapter, as I spent the entire book just waiting for another chapter from him to come up.
I liked most of the other characters in this crew of misfits. Simi is better than me cause I would have let Cristian die with the mob since he walked out. And [REDACTED] would be absolutely dead to me. Double agent or not, leaving me to die in a shipping container is not the move. Simone was by far my favorite of the bunch. I just KNEW there was something up with her.
All in all, this was a silly, goofy book and I enjoyed it greatly. Romantic comedies are my favorite genre, and ya girl loves a good heist. It was tense, funny and sweet in all the right places. I'm not opposed to reading the next book in the series, despite my dislike for Simi. Sometimes you don't vibe with some characters and Simi is that for me.

i didn't know this was a series and I feel like I needed to read book one before this one to fully understand what was going on.
