ty to netgalley and yen press | ize press for a copy of the arc :)

ngl the arc was crusty. text was missing, graphics were pixelated. luckily, this has been out for awhile so i just reread it on tappytoon

as an absolute whore for BL, i speed read the shit out of this. watching jiseok and jigeon fight over wooseo had me in a chokehold i s2g. i love a little possessiveness, and i knew jigeon was gonna be a big softie in the end

very cute and i will definitely be reading the other volumes

This was such a cute start to a manga series. Wooseo and Jigeon being matched is going to be such an interesting story line and I cannot wait to read more. Will absolutely be purchasing this series to have on my shelves if they all are like vol 1!

I was really excited to read this because the premise sounded great and I usually love these kind of stories, but unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. There were some questionable moments throughout (kissing someone sleeping, a large age gap while one person is still young) that I found difficult to look past. However, I think the concept of the ring appearing and causing sleep problems was really cool. Thank you for the ARC!

This was a good manga with a decent storyline but it got weird and confusing at the end.

The art was good and the text was nice.

The cute parts of the book were sweet, showing the relationship between the leads.

Thank you @netgalley for the review copy.

I had high hopes for this book, but it never delivered. The writing underdelivered the "soul mate" link. The concept was introduced too late, and it was too vague. The author should have leaned into the mysteriously appearing ring more than he did, especially giving the reader more of an explanation.

The illustrator also made it diffficult to follow because all the characters looked alike. Other than height and hair, the illustrator made no attempt to differentiate the characters for the reader. That made it difficult to understant who was interaction/speaking with whom.

My biggest complaint is the story just ended with no resolution. I understand this is part one, but the author could have provided a satisfying story with a definitive conclusion.

Despite it's shortfalls, I liked the book. I would have loved it had the author made it easier for the reader to follow the storyline.

This was definitely a cute starter for this series! I found the characters to be very interesting, but I did have trouble wanting to continue with the story here and there. I really only enjoyed the moments between Wooseo and Jigeon, but I wouldn't necessarily say that's a bad thing. We're obviously setting the scene and doing a bit of world building, so I can understand not immediately jumping into the juicy stuff. I loved the idea behind finding your match based on the red thread around your finger. Super cute concept!

Thank you NetGalley and Yen Press for the chance to read this title, in exchange for a review.

This was interesting. It kinda felt like an omega verse but with a twist, a very big different twist. So instead of your Alpha, beta and omega, you have your “fated ring” tied to you upon contact, connecting each other with the red thread of fate. Loved the concept!!

The story progressed at a steady pace and I’m keen to find out what happens next!

The only thing that had me grimacing a little was the fact that Jiseok and Jigeon - even though they’re brothers - look too much alike. I started getting confused on who was who but it started to become clearer after a few chapters.

What i if you have feelings for someone, but destiny and Fate has tied you to his older brother. This is what forms the story of tied to you.

In this first volume, it sets up the story beautifully, and is rather a quick read for the number of pages it is. The graphic novel, it’s the right notes emotionally and makes for a wonderful love triangle of sorts. The magical realism is set up nicely , specially the rules of it.

It would be interesting to see how this story of one-sided love meets a love triangle of fate story matures and progresses into a full blown one.

I didn’t get to read this because the file was in a format that wouldn’t allow me to open. I’m sure it’s great though.

This was an okay read. It was easy to read and entertaining enough, but failed to really attract my attention and honestly I'm not even sure after reading it which pairing I should route for. There were also a couple of moments I found slightly uncomfortable, such as kissing an unconscious man on the lips. The worldbuilding also needed a lot more development to really work.

I lover this story and I recently discovered that there are two other volumes and the fourth one is set to be published in february, I can’t wait!

I’m only disappointed that it doesn’t seem to exist a digital edition of the other volumes, you can only buy it in the phisical version but amazon says that they can deliver it to me in august…

Anyway the plot is original and interesting, cozy but yet suspensful, i adored the angst and the bond between the three male characters!

It's been a while since I've had a manga or manhwa to review.

This one, while not the most amazing first volume to a series that I've ever read, seems like a promising start.

The basic premise is this; Wooseo Shin suffers from an unrequited love for his best friend until one day he discovers his soul mate through the appearance of a ringlike mark, said friend's older brother. Complicating matters is the fact that once the ring appears both people require the presence of the other to ever get a decent night's sleep.

If that sounds appealing "Tied to You" may well be worth checking out. It's a quick read (of course it is, it's a manhwa) and overall, a good way to pass a Sunday. I'll be continuing with the series.

Just be forewarned. It seems likely like toxic manipulation will play a bit role here.

My thanks to Yen Press and NetGalley for my copy.

I love the idea of fated soulmates. Add to this a guy hopelessly in love with his best friend while his soulmate is the friend's brother, and you have my attention.

I couldn't stop reading this. I loved the way the tension is built not only between our main character and his soulmate but also between the brothers.

In this volume pov switches in the second part and I really liked it. It helped me understand the story and confirmed my suspicions.

(Be aware that both brothers can be quite toxic and there's a seven-year age difference between our mc and his soulmate.)

The art style is very pretty and matches the story really well. The panels are easy to read and there's no confusion about who says what. And while the brothers look really similar, there are some differences, so you can easily tell them apart.

I'm definitely going to read the next part.

There are definitely some interesting tropes in this story but there are also quite a few that I'm not a fan of. I like the premise of the red string of fate to connect the main characters.

Not sure if I'll continue this one or not.

This definitely read and felt like it was a webcomic first, that is to say--the storyline is a bit all over the place. I don't plan on continuing reading this, but the premise is something I think plenty of people would enjoy reading. It also got a lot harder in terms of spice a lot faster than expected.

What happens when you’ve been in love with your best friend for what feels like forever, only to end up bound by a ring of fate to his older brother instead?

At its heart, this is a love triangle, made even more complicated by the ring that forces the "fated partners" into constant proximity. The story does a great job capturing Wooseo’s dilemma—our MC is caught between two brothers and genuinely doesn’t know what to do. I also appreciated that we got Jigeon’s (the older brother’s) POV, which added depth to his character and even had me leaning toward his side at times.

Overall, this story keeps me hooked with its emotional tug-of-war. It's messy, but heartfelt, and I'm certainly curious to see how this develops.

Thank you to Netgalley and IzePress for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

I'm thinking, "Darn it! I missed reading this yaoi when it was available on NetGalley :( "luckily, I do remember seeing a tiny bit on Instagram. Last year--I'm guessing when this volume got published in English--there were a few promotional posts that I bookmarked as it was a buzzy release among the pages I stalk. I can say that I love the artwork and the premise was intriguing. It has been a while since I've read a "literal red string of fate" romance (not omegaverse), so I was excited. However, I was not thrilled with the brotherly love triangle, just fill me with angst.

Next time I see a yaoi available, I need to read the publication date correctly. >v<

Honestly I found it kind of boring and repetitive. It was something I more skimmed through starting at the halfway mark. The graphics where in color which I really appreciate but some of them did seem lazy and juvenile. It's not something I would recommend or pick up again.

(I received an eARC of this book from the publishers through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.)

The male lead definitely has some red flag moments, especially with how he manipulates the protagonist and certain situations, at least from what I’ve read so far. But honestly, I’m still loving this manhwa and couldn’t be happier that it’s finally being published!

This is such a sweet story! I'm completely hooked. Between the unrequited love, fated mates, and the hint of a sinister malicious actor, I really can't wait to see what happens next. I did find it a little hard to follow at times. There are so many similar looking characters and similar names that it's a little hard to keep track. But once I picked up on the main plot, I was totally enthralled in it. Like Wooseu, I really can't figure out either Jisoek or Jigeon. Does Jisoek actually have feelings for him after all? What's up with Jigeon's personality flips? Who is the dark nefarious figure? I hope we'll find out in Vol 2, I'll definitely be looking forward to it!
