This story was cute, but did not flow as well as it could have. I felt there was various potential story lines happening and it may make it difficult for children to stay engaged. The illustrations were super cute! Thank you for my arc copy!
This is a silly and engaging children's book full of dinosaurs parading around town, starting a band, baking cakes, and having fun! My 4 year old loved this book and asked for it multiple times. I enjoyed reading it, the words and rhymes flowed smoothly and my son was able to follow along with the storyline relatively well. He laughs everytime I read about the duck that hatched from a dinosaur egg.
Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Kids for an E-ARC in exchange for an honest review!
From the makers of "Unicorn Day" and "Mermaid Day," it's Dinosaur Day! Fun from start to finish, with dynamic and colorful illustrations that celebrate all the dinos. This one is sure to be a favorite for younger readers and for all your dino-fans. Upbeat, catchy with real-world activities that dinos get to partake in. The baby dinos are just about the cutest things I've seen. This book is just the right length for storytimes. Thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the sneakpeak via the eARC.

My kids and I really enjoy this series of books! I was so excited to see that a new title was coming out in this series. We like these books because they have delightful rhymes that practically lend themselves to singing and very colorful pictures that capture my children's imaginations.
This book, and the others in the series, are the kind that you will want to pick up time and again to read, sing, and enjoy!
I would highly suggest these books as a great read aloud either at home or in the classroom!
Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book.
My son loves dinosaurs 🦕
He loved me reading this book to him and I loved seeing the joy he got from it. I highly recommend to other parents to read to thier little ones, and to add to thier little ones book collection.
Dinosaur Day is such a cute story. My boys really loved the story cadence especially with the use of rhyming words. The story itself was engaging and kept their interest. We all loved that the Trex loves Lava Cake. It was such a fun whimsical addition to the story. However, the best surprise was by far the little duck. I really loved the representation present in the illustrations. Additionally, the overall style fit the playful nature of the story. I would recommend checking out this story.

Dinosaur Day is an adorable book with fantastic rhymes about a dinosaur parade through town. I really enjoyed this one. The illustrations are super cute, and this would be a huge hit for any tiny dino lovers. Super cute book! I love that their unexpected surprise is accepted among the dinosaurs and fits right in with them. The illustrations are great. Vibrant and very colorful!
"Dinosaur Day" is a children's fiction picture book written by Diana Murray and illustrated by Luke Flowers. I highly recommend this picture book for young children approximately 4 to 10 years old!
The pictures are brightly painted cartoons that are very appealing. The story is about children celebrating Dinosaur Day with a parade and costumes, hats, puppets, balloons, signs, and dancing, followed by a pool party. Some pictures show the children and some show the dinosaurs celebrating.
The dinosaurs stomp and romp and have terrific sing-song rhymes. There is even a surprise as the eggs hatch! If you look carefully, you can follow this one unusual egg from the beginning as it is hiding on every double page spread.
This book would be good in a home, a classroom, or a children's library. It is full of joy, and it celebrates imagination.
Thank you to Netgalley, Sourcebooks, Inc. and Diana Murray for providing me this e-book in exchange for my honest review.
Dinosaur Day is another fun, colorful and inclusive read from the creators of Unicorn Day and Mermaid Day. While the Dino’s get up to all sorts of fun on their special day, the meat of the story is how they accept the baby duckling as one of their own. The attention to detail in the design between the lively and bright illustrations, whimsical fonts, and catchy rhymes make it such a fun read aloud for toddlers and caregivers alike.
I love that this one can be read at night as the Dino’s all calm down and go to sleep at the end of a romping and roaring fun day!
Cute rhyming picture book about dinosaurs and celebrating them. The story is enjoyable, and the illustration is bright and colourful. Nothing felt forced, which can be a challenge when you are writing a picture book in rhyme. Sure, it's a poem, but when you have a theme, one that has been done in so many ways before, it's hard to put a unique spin on things and to make it work. The book had a few snippets of facts and information about dinosaurs, and it would likely be fun to play spot the specific types of dinos on every page. Maybe even pick one and hunt for it throughout the book.
Dinosaur Day would be an excellent gift for a little one who likes dinosaurs and is learning to read, or for a younger read aloud book for a child who likes dinos or whose parents are into dinosaurs.
As a working mom with a dino-obsessed toddler, Dinosaur Day by Diana Murray is a hit in our house! This delightful rhyming story takes young readers on an exciting adventure through a day filled with all sorts of dinosaurs. The playful language and colorful illustrations keep little ones engaged while introducing them to different types of dinos.
It’s the perfect blend of fun and education, making it easy for me to share my child’s enthusiasm for these prehistoric creatures during story time.
Final Thoughts: Dinosaur Day is a joyful, action-packed read for dinosaur lovers. Moms will appreciate how it captures kids’ attention with its lively rhymes and vibrant illustrations, making it a great pick for any dino loving toddler!

This book is absolutely adorable! The bright colors and illustrations are so much fun. The rhyming text is fun and engaging. My dinosaur loving son really enjoyed this book! I think it will become the new favorite to read at bedtime! I highly recommend grabbing a copy!
