Halle and Henry’s journey from friends to lovers felt so genuine and heartwarming—it was impossible not to root for them. Returning to Maple Hill and catching up with the crew again was such a treat. I really appreciate how Hannah weaves in familiar faces from earlier books, keeping the world feeling connected and alive.

It was so satisfying to finally see sweet, thoughtful Henry take center stage. And Halle? I saw so much of myself in her—especially her tendency to overthink and put others first (a people pleaser if you will). Their dynamic felt incredibly relatable and real.

Henry and Halle are total relationship goals. I loved that their bond was built on a solid friendship first. Henry has been a standout character for me throughout the series, and his story didn’t disappoint. Hannah's writing continues to evolve beautifully since Icebreaker—this book feels more mature and grounded in all the best ways.

The communication, emotional growth, and pure romance between these two make it such a swoony, feel-good read.

This book is a perfect blend of humor, heart, and steamy chemistry, set against the backdrop of a quirky, feel-good story about love, self-discovery, and the messiness of life.

Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this title as an e-Arc! As with Hannah Grace's other novels, I loved Daydream! There's enough spice and drama to level the book out, and it never feels forced or (too) cheesy. With the considerable amount of sports romances on the market right now, her books also manage to feel fresh and original, which is refreshing!

Daydream was a beautifully written and evocative novel that drew me in from the very first page. Hannah Grace skillfully explores themes of memory, loss, and the blurred lines between reality and imagination. The characters felt deeply human and complex, making their emotional struggles all the more impactful. It was a haunting and thought-provoking read that stayed with me long after I finished.

Okay, first of all, what a cute cover! I am a sucker for a pastel illustrated contemporary romance book cover. I will pick it up/buy it almost every time.

Also it has two of my favorite character types in a romance book: the hockey player and the book lover. How could the two possibly NOT fall in love. I love the dynamic between the two. It's nice to read a romance between a hockey player and his love interest where he isn't her sworn enemy or a duche with a redeeming arc (though I am a sucker for those as well). Henry and Halle are friends. She signs up to help him because she wants to. It's a cute dynamic and I love falling in love with them as they fall in love with each other.

This is one of those, step outside of your comfort zone stories. It’s a great time watching the character growth. A really fun, quick read.

Daydream is classic Hannah Grace: soft, swoony and full of found family vibes. This is a cozy, slightly chaotic slow burn with solid chemistry, cute banter and excellent friend group dynamics (my favorite part of this series).

Liked this a lot!! Main character was adorable, and I related to her so much as a bookseller. Fun, easy, and heartwarming read!

I don't love a virgin storyline. That's not the entirety of the driving force of the plot, but it was looming enough to make me uncomfortable. They have decent chemistry though and he's a decent love interest. It just isn't for me.

I did enjoy this book and thought it was cute, but ultimately I thought that the autism representation was somewhat lacking. However, I really did love Halle's storyline and watching her become herself in the wake of her breakup.

This book was sweet and the characters were really enjoyable to read about. I wish there was a bit more angst or passion, but overall it was a good read!

Daydream by Hannah Grace was a genuinely refreshing read that exceeded my expectations in all the best ways. I appreciated not just the sweet, slow-burn romance and engaging character dynamics, but also how open-minded and inclusive the story felt throughout. Grace has a real talent for creating characters who feel layered, real, and relatable, and she places them in a world where acceptance and understanding are the norm, not the exception.

What stood out to me most was how naturally diversity and inclusivity were woven into the narrative. Rather than feeling forced or performative, the representation felt authentic—supporting characters came from a variety of backgrounds and identities, and their presence added depth and richness to the story. It was heartwarming to see a romance that celebrated emotional intelligence, consent, and communication in such a thoughtful way.

Overall, Daydream is the kind of book that leaves you with a smile and a sense of hope. It's romantic, yes, but it's also compassionate and quietly progressive, reminding readers that love flourishes best in spaces that welcome everyone.

Daydream was my favorite of the entire trilogy, but I wish that Hannah Grace had owned that Henry is on the spectrum. It's hinted so much and it feels like a missed opportunity for awareness to not highlight his story with his autism.

I related to Halle from the get-go as an eldest daughter and was so proud of her growth. Henry is SUCH A good partner to her, and I love him for it.

I'm sad this series is over and would return to Maple Hills in a heartbeat!

Love these books!! So fun and I always feel like I’m right there in the middle of it with them! Happy to have gotten an arc for a series I so enjoy!

Daydream is a cute read for fans of the author, especially the previous two books in this series (Icebreaker and Wildfire). A friends-to-lovers plot sees opposites Henry (jock) and Halle (book nerd and aspiring author) engaging in a (very) slow burn romance that the main characters seem to fight very hard to deny. And, while there is some great flirty banter and swoon-worthy lines from Henry, I found the romance to be lacklustre and the plot itself was fairly slow. I did, however, appreciate the focus on struggling with ADHD and I think anyone who can relate will find themselves reflected well here, which is something you don't get very often.

This is a good beach read and is great for those looking for an easy light romance. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

1st person dual POV
Spice: 1.5/3🔥

I have wanted Henry’s story from the very first time we met him in Icebreaker. Getting inside his head was everything I wanted and more. And Halle is his perfect match. They are PRECIOUS. I absolutely loved this and I never want this world end.

What you’ll find:
- neurodivergent rep
- reformed playboy
- v heroine
- she’s an aspiring author
- they help each other 🥹

Where was this romance 18 years ago when I was in college? This is a fantastic romance for college-aged readers who want to see themselves in a romance.

I also very much appreciated the portrayal of losing your virginity. It is EXTREMELY well done! Brava!

Diverse:
- Henry is neurospicy, as described in the beginning author’s note. If he were to have a diagnosis, it would probably be AuDHD.
- Halle has anxiety.

HENRY IS THE MAN OF MY DREAMS! I absolutely loved this one and I cannot begin to describe how much I enjoyed it! It is truly a GEM of a book.

The story is captivating from start to finish, with a perfect blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth. The story follows Halle and Henry, who are both dealing with their own personal struggles. Halle helps tutor Henry, they begin fall in love and slowly they each (and together) begin to heal and overcome all of their struggles. Both characters are relatable, and their story was cute and emotional and will have you swooning.

Why was this so damn perfect? I saw so much of myself in both Henry and Halle. I hated how quickly
I finished this book because I didn't want to leave these characters behind.

This book was probably the best out of all three in the series! I couldn't wait for Henry's story because he's just so sweet! He has a little care box for girls who stay at his house!
