Thank you Freida, net gallery and the publishers for providing me a copy of the crash in exchange for a review.
I love all freida books, I'm a huge fan. Freidas writing style is simple and easy to read, I'm always pulled in and left speechless with the twists at the end.
The crash was another simple, easy to read bookn and I did not want to put the book down, I wanted to know what was happening next. The characters are well developed.
I just feel like the twists were not twisting. Nothing really grabbed me nor left me speechless. I do feel as though this was similar to "the boyfriend".
Overall it's a great read, I do recommend reading it. It's just missing the twists that leave you speechless.

Typically I love Freida McFadden's books and I was really excited for this one. It started off really strong for me and I found the main female character likeable and easy to sympathize with. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of the secluded winter cabin trope and I think that this might have affected my overall enjoyment of the book. However, I am sure that most other readers and Freida fans will also enjoy this one. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

As an avid reader of Freida's books I was shocked when I finished this and couldn't give it 5 stars. Usually her books have me thrown for a 20 loop roller-coaster ride guessing, second guessing and finally giving up on guessing who "the bad guy" is, however with this book the roller-coaster was much more tame when it came to the loops. I did still love it. It was still pulse pumping, had me on the edge of my seat and as always it was an easy fast read just much more predictable. Maybe I'm just getting better at predicting but it felt too easy this time. Looking forward to reading her next one!

I probably don't even need to review any of Freida's books as people are obsessed with her! I will say for this one, I was unexectedly surprised at the interesting ending!

*"The Crash"* by Freida McFadden is a fast-paced psychological thriller that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The writing is sharp, the tension builds steadily, and the isolated, snowstorm setting adds to the eerie atmosphere. The dual perspectives add depth to the story, making you question who to trust. Just when you think you have it all figured out, McFadden throws in a twist at the end that completely flips the story on its head—in the best way. If you love suspenseful reads with unexpected turns, this one is definitely worth picking up!

Freida is my favorite writer. I love all of her books including this one. I love the difference in settings in this book as well. I always feel like I know exactly what is going to happen and she surprises me. I recommend this book for a good mystery/thriller!

I've read a lot of Freida McFadden's book (almost all).
I don't have much to say about this one as it was not one of my favorite she's written thus far.
Still a great read as always, just wasn't my favorite.

I enjoyed reading this book. It reminded me of Stephen King's Misery. It did get a little slow, in the middle but picked up towards the end and I liked the story.

When Tegan’s plans for her and her unborn child’s life unravel in an instant, Tegan has no choice but to seek help from her brother, who lives out of town. While en route to her brother’s house she is caught in a snow storm and ends up in a collision that pins her inside of her car. On a desolate road, she feels all is lost until a strange man appears and rescues her, with promises to take her to the hospital when the snow storm is passed. Unfortunately, not all is what it seems when they return to his home and Tegan quickly discovers that she is in grave and terrible danger.
Five enthusiastic stars. The twists and turns had me dizzy in the best way. I could NOT put it down!

This book was so good. I felt like I was in the book along side Tegan! I love how Freida's books always leave you on the edge of your seat and wanting more page after page!

Freida did it once again!! She never fails to impress me. Her twists in each book are one of a kind. Great book by an amazing author. I’m so honored and thankful to have received one of her arcs for this book!

In true McFadden fashion, this book left me on the edge of my seat. I thought I knew where it was going but the book had the twist that she is known for. I enjoyed this book immensely.

4.5/5 stars for this one! I really enjoyed the genuine human feeling for all of the characters and really shining light on many maternal feelings while also making a killer thriller. Of course I couldn’t fully guess the twists, but I loved the needing and how everyone got exactly what they deserved.

"The Crash" is another exciting, twisty thriller from Frieda McFadden. I was very surprised by one of the twists in this book. I loved the setting and characters. It felt high stakes throughout the whole story. I will of course being reading more of her books. This one is one of my favorites though, right up there with "The Housmaid."

Thank you, NetGalley, for an e-ARC of The Crash by Freida McFadden.
The Crash represents a trope that has been used too many times: pregnant woman, trapped in a snowstorm, held hostage in stranger's house... McFadden provides her signature twist at the end, but the story itself seemed rushed and predictable. The characters are flat and the writing feels like that of a teenager. I just don't understand why she is so popular right now. I am glad to have read this book; as a librarian it is my job to have a finger on the pulse of what is hot, but I can't say it was enjoyable!

If you are a fan of Freida McFadden, The Crash will not disappoint. It is a slightly different layout from some of her other books but it still keeps you coming back for more. Instead of two storylines, I his book tells the same story from two points of view Her development of characters is outstanding and relatable. I highly recommend The Crash!

Ms. Freida, may I suggest you take a few months off and reset? You’re starting to write books at almost a James Patterson pace (do you use ghost writers?), and I am starting to feel like you are focusing on quantity instead of quality.
So where do I begin? First, I think you could have played up Teagan’s situation a little more. We as readers are supposed to feel sorry for her circumstances. But when she reveals the manner in which she became pregnant, I honestly thought she was losing it!
And can we please retire the infertile female character that is jealous of every other female that’s pregnant? That trope is played out! Why do we creative this narrative that a person struggling with infertility will want to harm anyone who is pregnant? I don’t like that...
Finally, I think the ending was weird and didn’t tie everything together. If anything, it proved that all of the characters had a couple of loose screws. Read at your own risk.

Tegan is eight months pregnant, alone, and desperate to leave her crumbling life behind. With nowhere else to go, she sets off for her brother’s house, unaware that her journey is leading her straight into a blizzard.
She never makes it.
Stranded in rural Maine with a broken ankle and a dead car, Tegan begins to fear she’s made a terrible mistake. But when a couple finds her and offers her shelter in their remote cabin, she thinks she’s found safety.
But all is not as it seems. As the storm rages on, Tegan’s growing sense of unease deepens. The couple’s kindness begins to feel suffocating, and she starts to realize she’s trapped in a nightmare. This once-safe haven may be more dangerous than she ever imagined.
Now, with no one to trust, Tegan must fight to survive—both for herself and her unborn child.
As always this Freida book is full of twists and turns and just when you think you’ve sussed it the actual twist hits you in the face. I really enjoyed this read it was super fast paced as usual and kept me wanting more. It wasn’t my favourite book by this author but still a great engaging read.

THE CRASH
Freida McFadden
Mystery/Thriller
When, at 8 months pregnant, Teagan finds herself alone and stranded, she has to make some tough decisions. Go with the seemingly perfectly nice couple who found her or find a way to go on alone? But is that couple as nice as they initially seemed?
This is one of my favorite books by this author that I have read so far. I loved every twist and turn in it. I would give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars. #TheCrash

The Crash by Freida McFadden is a bit different compared to her other books. It is a slower burn book that allows the reader to utilize their senses. To truly feel like the reader is experiencing what the characters are going through. Highly recommend this book just like all of her others! 5 stars!
