Mary Kom has always been the most cherished athlete of India. She started her journey so early but with much more struggles where she had to convince her parents that boxing can also be a sport for women, her society that believed girls should not do such sports and herself when her family had nothing much to eat for. From such phases, she faced and cross every hurdle that came her way and came out victorious. I read her biography years back and that inspired me to believe that hurdles are only in out minds and it is only us ourselves who can clear those all.

An amazing person and fabulous athlete, she will always be known for her contribution to the field of boxing world-wise and for making a strong stand for India in this field. She started academy to bring out many more talents for this beautiful talented nation to brighten country's future.
