I'm a sucker for a pretty cover. The illustration on the cover drew me in right away. The illustrations inside help my attention throughout. This one will be fun for parents to read to kiddos. Like most kids movies these days, there's little jokes for the adults.
I'm a huge fan of books like this that are cute children's books on the surface but also have multiple layers of humor. And everything here is appropriate -- there is so much imagination in this simple story about kids going on an expedition. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
Super cute book! Great illustrations.
I love the imagination of this book and the imagination of the kids in this book only to cross the playground! I laughed at the end.
From a parent perspective I loved this one - it was so funny but in a dry way that Iβm not sure my kiddo understood but I had a fun time reading this one and canβt wait to read it with my 7 year old, I think he will be pleased!
Thank you NetGalley - all opinions are my own!

The Great Expedition is an adorable picture book about a group of kids who go on an "expedition" to deliver a package. I loved the juxtaposition between the serious explorer text and the fun playground images. This tickled me as an adult, and I am sure that kiddos would love this silly picture book!
