I requested this one back in the day as I had every intention of reading it. However, its been years and I still haven't gotten around to it and while I feel guilty at not reviewing a book I think that I need to admit to myself that I won't be reading this one anytime soon....if at all.

Keep in mind that this review is coming from someone who doesn't exactly shop for books in the romance section, but I do have an open mind.
The plot itself was a little different than some of the other romance books I have read, but it created quite a bit of background to the characters and added much more depth to the story than just the sappiness or "steaminess" if you will. I feel this book is unique in the way the characters develop. The characters of Sophie and Alex have a classic dynamic, one being the bad boy and other being the innocent girl. Well... Sophie isn't exactly "innocent", but her character does face an internal struggle of where she might fit on that spectrum. Alex and Sophie find a connection with not only their physical selves, but with the same crisis within their family relations. It definitely creates a unique situation that is interesting to read about, and for me it ended up being a quick page-turner. Dahl is excellent at keeping a reader interested, and for those of you who are interested in the steamier parts, she also does not disappoint there.
I gave this book 3 stars for the fact that it kept me wanting to turn the page, and I recommend for anyone who is a romance reader. I did not enjoy it fully mainly because this genre is generally not my cup of tea and it was not as detailed or adventurous as I like my stories to be, a little too easy of a read.
