One rainy, blustery, day, Bunny decides to make some tea--gathering ingredients from around the garden and savoring the smells as it brews. Before Bunny can try the tea, neighbor Opossum arrives and so Bunny offers her a spot of tea. Opossum likes the tea so much, she drinks the whole pot! That's ok...Bunny can brew another pot. Not long after, Opossum returns with her babies in tow...and well, Bunny does what any good neighbor would do.

With simple words, a poetic timbre, and absolutely beautiful art, this cozy little book is perfect for beginning readers (3-6 years old) who will learn the importance of placing others first as well as the golden rule (do unto others...). My only (teeny tiny) complaint is that--at 32 pages--I thought the story would be longer. That being said, this children's book makes excellent use of its space with full color pages that charm the senses. Readers will spend time with Bunny throughout the day, in different kinds of weather, getting ready to enjoy the warmth, smells, and comfort of a cup of tea with friends.

A short, simple, warm/delicately illustrated book with a message about friendship & sharing. It's quite cute, with very little in the way of text......probably perfect for little kids. I did like it & would recommend it for every library, private & public! It's cute, & just.....very nice!

A cute picture book with very few words. Perfect as a baby book or very early reader. The illustrations are vivid and go along with the story. Great talking points throughout to help young children get excited for reading.

This is a cute little picture book. There are very few words definitely appropriate for a child just learning to read. Especially since most reading is now done by sight rather than sounding out. It's also very easy for a child to be able to figure out what is happening without the story being read to them. This is a cute little picture book. I think it is great for small children.

Beautifully illustrated. This is a very short story about a bunny who continues to make tea, share it out with other animals before partaking, and make more until the surprise ending.

The lack of words does leave it open for young readers to discuss what they think is happening and what the bunny and other animals are feeling, but also makes the story best suited for young toddlers age 1-3.

It did feel very similar to “Dozens of Doughnuts” by Carrie Finson, which is more in the 3-7 age range.

I love this so much! The art is adorable. A great story about sharing. I would have loved reading this to my kids when they were little.

Bunny makes tea and finds that other also want tea. Bunny ends up not getting tea as they make tea for others. This is a very simple and short book, idea for early readers and introducing concepts of feelings and sharing.

We absolutely LOVED this book. It spoke gently of the value of sharing and kindness and those illustrations are SO CUTE!

This is a beautiful book about helping others and expecting nothing in return. Bunny makes tea for the Opossum and her babies, but there is no tea left for her.
I loved the illustrations.
This is such a sweet little read.

Such a cute book! I think, before I go into the review, I should note that this book is definitely best for very young readers. This is because the sentences are very simple and basic (not a bad thing), and most of the story is told through the illustrations. This is actually perfect for younger readers because it encourages them to notice visual details/cues in order to understand the story, and it promotes the use of imagination long after finishing the book. Going deeper into talking about the illustrations, they were adorable and beautiful! Emotions, setting, and tone were effortlessly conveyed through these illustrations, using color, lighting, and character expressions. Lastly, the story was very heartwarming, just like a cup of tea. It shows how kindness goes around, and how helping others will end up helping/benefitting you; it pays off. I know for sure that kids will love reading this book and will get lots out of it.

This is a sweet picture book about Bunny who wanted tea and sharing with friends. The illustrations were wonderful and the baby opossums were the cutest touch. I look forward to getting a physical copy to read to my daughter.

This was a very cute read and I really loved the illustration style! This would be a great bed time read to be able to walk through all of the pictures to catch the detail and the message. I think it would’ve helped to have a few additional words to really appreciate the message the author was trying to portray. Quite a cute read though! I can’t wait to have kids of my own to read to!!

This is a sweet story about an adorable bunny who simply wants to sit and enjoy a hot cup of tea... I totally relate. Bunny isn't the only one who likes tea though!!! His friends the opossums also like tea and it was very kind of bunny to share and to teach the little one how to make tea too!
