Shaylah is a pilot in the Coalition and she received a slave named Wolf as her reward. She believes in love and friendship. Wolf has a collar that will force him to do whatever Shaylah wants but she doesn't want to take advantage of it. After she ends up going to fight in war, Wolf ends up in prison colony but she gets him out and they take off. This was a good sci-fi read and I would love to read more like it.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

A promising start to the Coalition Rebellion, Lord of the Storm is a good Sci-Fi Romance. I enjoyed the premise, the storyline and the characters and will look to read more.

WOW just WOW! This book told a tale of trial and tribulations where like David and Goliath the heroine went against a huge unbeatable entity. She went on a discovery and found that all she had believed was a lie. This story showed how a slave and a Coalition officer became the voice and epitome of a people’s freedom. If you like sci-fi and intrigue read this book. You’ll go on a deep space ride where you won’t want to get off. I highly recommend this book.

I have wanted to read this book for years. Happily I was not disappointed. Shayla may be part of the Coalition but doesn't believe in a lot of their practices. After her friend Califa sends a slave to service her those ideals are tested. The story is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. The emotions are vividly portrayed making this a hard book to put down. What an enjoyable read.
