I couldn’t put this book down once I started it. I became totally engrossed in the characters and plot. I really enjoyed the fast paced writing style and various twists.

I finished The Doll’s House and it was actually pretty good. It’s kinda dark and emotional, but not in an over-the-top way. The story slowly unravels and keeps you guessing, which I liked. Some parts felt a little heavy, but it wasn’t boring. The writing was nice and not too complicated, and the vibe was super moody, which made it more interesting. It’s one of those books where you don’t totally know who to trust. I wouldn’t say it’s a favorite, but I’m glad I read it. Good if you’re into mysterious, emotional kind of stories.

The Doll’s house was AMAZING. I couldn’t put it down. It reminded me of the movie the Roommate. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery…until it turns sinister!
Naomi sells her family flat to Summer, and at first is very pleased to make a new friend. Until Summer started to slowly steal her life and ice her out… her friends, her style, even making attempts at her husband and children. Naomi is left feeling like she’s losing her mind, and everyone dismisses her concerns as such. It all comes to a wild head and a stand off.
Highly recommend!

A tightly woven thriller that delivers heart-pounding suspense and brilliantly timed twists. The storytelling is immersive, with vivid scenes and a plot that never loses momentum. Each character is crafted with care, adding depth to the danger that surrounds them. It’s a thrilling, edge-of-your-seat experience you won’t soon forget.

Absolutely brilliant. Hooked from page 1. Naomi & Summer's characters are just so well thought through and the whole plot is so believable, tension builds throughout. A cracking good read

Naomi and her family are poised to move into what she believes to be their dream home, until the buyer pulls out. Enter Summer: a charming single mother who swoops in to purchase Naomi’s old flat and seemingly solves all her problems. But Summer’s involvement doesn’t stop there. She insinuates herself into Naomi’s life; enrolling her child in the same school, dressing like her, befriending her social circle and even presents Naomi with a doll’s house mirroring her new home. What starts as flattering soon becomes dangerously intense. What starts as flattering soon becomes dangerously intense. Naomi finds herself gaslit, isolated and spiraling as she uncovers Summer’s obsessive intentions.
Boydell’s writing is sharp, eerie, and addictive. I can't help but to keep thinking about this book. Needless to say, I finished this in a few sittings.
One thing that I was disappointed with is the lack of originality in the plot. It feels like some other thrillers that I've read and I was a bit underwhelmed with the reveal. I could also see the twists beforehand and this kind of spoiled my reading experience for me.
Some plots also seemed a bit far-fetched. Naomi’s group of friends who seemed to ditch her whenever something trivial happened feels childish and this irked me. Otherwise, the plot remained engaging enough.
Overall, this is an unputdownable thriller although not my favourite. If you're into psychological thrillers with hint of dread and lots of gaslighting, you may want to add this to your TBR.

Thank you @netgalley and @boldwoodbooks for this.

A bit far fetched but a thrilling read! It's scary how quickly Naomis life implodes. How fast het friends turn on her! And what does Summer have to gain in all this?! Very good book!

The Doll's House follows Naomi and her family who just moved from a flat to the home of their dreams. Slowly things begin to go wrong with their new house and Naomi feels regretful for moving and envious of the Summer, the new flat owners. The two begin to cross paths on more than one occasion and Naomi struggles to determine if she's going crazy or things truly aren't as they seem. This story is fast paced and filled with many ups and downs and twists and turns. The ending leaves you with a bone-chilling twist!

A brilliant dark thriller that at times gave me chills. Naomi and her family are thrilled when they finally get a buyer for their much loved flat which means they can now move into their dream home but when the lady who buys the flat,Summer, starts to integrate herself into Naomis life things start to take a downward spiral. A fast paced gritty story which had me intrigued.

I enjoyed this book, it was the first one that I had read of the authors and it’s made me want to read more. A very good twisty thriller

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
I really enjoyed The Doll’s House. The plot was interesting right from the start and had a lot of layers that kept me guessing. There were definitely some parts where the pacing slowed down, and I found myself wishing things would move a little faster. Still, every time I thought the story might lose me, a twist would come out of nowhere and pull me right back in. The unpredictability definitely kept me engaged and made me want to keep reading.
The characters were also really well-developed, and I liked how the story explored deeper emotional themes without feeling forced. Even when the pace dipped, I was invested enough in the characters to want to see how everything would play out. Overall, this was a really compelling read, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoys psychological dramas with some truly unexpected turns.

Its been a while since I've indulged in a twisty psychological thriller and this one mostly hit the mark. Naomi is anxious about selling her beloved flat that her and her husband, Oliver have owned since before her daughters were born. When a buyer pulls out, she despairs that she'll never own the home she's always dreamed of, but when Summer puts in an offer she's overjoyed. Soon that joy turns into a living nightmare.
Both Summer and Naomi weren't characters that I could get behind. Naomi was also rather unhinged in her thinking - she too was obsessive and impulsive in her actions. And her friends were rather shallow to dump her as quick as they did. It was a real page turner though and I was engaged to find out just how it would end.

Nothing prepares you for the roller coaster this book will send you on. Just as soon as you think you have it figured out, the author bowls you from the side. Really a very entertaining book, and I can't wait to read her next one!

What a fantastic thriller.
This book did not disappoint - I got through the whole thing within one day! It kept me gripped, interested and on the edge of my seat. I actually found it a little bit creepy and unsettling at times thanks to the brilliant writing by the author. I will certainly be recommending this to all of my thriller loving friends!

This book was so good as our all of Natasha Boydell’s books . I would recommend reading this .It kept me reading it until the end .

Wasn’t able to read this one digitally but I did order a copy of the book so will be reviewing it after I’ve read it. I’m really excited for it as I’ve only heard great things about it.

So many twists and turns!!!
I couldn’t put this book down.
This book didn’t disappoint.
Suspenseful and fast paced. Definitely worth the read!

I was so intrigued when this one started, so into it. But then it just lost its thrill entirely, why, I don't even know. It just was boring to me and was a little jumbled and didn't make sense to me. It might just be a me problem.

Naomi thinks she’s finally found her forever home—until the sale of her apartment falls through and everything starts unraveling.
Then comes Summer, a sweet, soft-spoken single mom who swoops in to buy Naomi’s place… but things quickly get weird. Summer starts showing up everywhere—same school, same friends, even copying Naomi’s clothes—and when Naomi finds a dollhouse that’s an exact replica of her own home? EEK...mega creepy "Single White Female" vibes!
This is one of those slow-burning thrillers that sneaks up on you and makes you question every single character.
Thank you to NetGalley, Natasha Boydell, and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read this eerie and addictive ARC!
