A wonderful read!
This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

I love the Rossetti sisters, their daughters, and Nonna. In this installment of Sunshine Bay, Gia Rossetti and her daughter, Sage, are caught up in their own life events. We see the impact of time on siblings and how work can take over your life. And from this we see how family can help in our time of need. Of course, Mason also has wonderful men included who are there to help the women they love. I would love for their to be another Sunshine Bay book about Nonna and her fiancé, Bruno, as well as letting us know how all the couples are. I’ve been a fan since the first book and hate this is the end.

This is such a heartwarming book. I laughed a lot while reading this book. It’s very family centric, with all the drama and love included. The Rossetti women are a proud and fierce family. This has been a wonderful series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

If you devour family drama, you're going to love this. There's a bit of everything here: mystery, romance and family drama. The reader is never bored, which makes this a quick read.
The driving force of this story is it's characters. The story focuses on one family in a small town which made the family drama and dynamics a big part of the book. I thought the author did a good job of balancing all the different dynamics and relationships. I never got confused and felt that this could have been a real family. The relationships were complicated but full of so much love. I felt this was also realistic.
I did like that we got two love stories. Both felt different too. Jake and Sage had an enemies to lovers vibe, while Gia and Flynn were more of a second chance romance. I enjoyed both romances and felt they were equally romantic.
Would recommend.

Sage is forced to take some much-needed time off, she has just inherited a house that is co owned by Jake. Her mother is going to release a book about the familys biggest secret.

I didn’t realize this was the third book in a series, which is something I personally struggle with. I love having background context—it helps me connect more deeply with the characters and understand the subplots. That said, this book was still an entertaining read, full of drama, tension, love, forgiveness, and a few surprises—everything you’d want in a story! I’m a big fan of strong family dynamics, so that part really worked for me, even if I was a little confused at times.
Thank you Netgalley and Forever for the arc!

This story was about 3 generations (I think) of women that was at times funny, very melodramatic, but also twisty-curvy. In the beginning, I had a tough time keeping track of who was whom, until I realized that this was 3rd in a series. I’m not sure this could be a stand-alone story because I feel I need to read the first 2 books to get a better understanding of what happened in the past. The family dynamic, especially with them being Italian equals loud and “passionate”. Because the family dynamic of these women, The decades long conflicts were resolved very quickly because of presenting circumstances that I wonder if it was going to be enough.
The backstory of animosity between Sage and Jake and falling into a relationship after not being in touch with each other in over a decade was not sitting well with me. The other cast of characters had so much going on, it kept you on your toes to keep track of everyone. I definitely wasn’t clear on why Sage was so close to Alice considering the family background.
This was my first book by the author and I was lucky to have received the ARC from NetGalley. I do recommend this book, but as I said above, I am going to read the first 2 in this series. My Rating is a solid 3-1/2 Stars

Attorney Sage Rosetti is an all work no play kind of girl,. Her life revolves around her work which leaves no time for anything else, no relationship, vacations or leisure time for this girl. But then an unexpected loss changes all of that, now she has all the time in the world to heal and recover from her loss...but there's a catch. The inherited house she's planning to escape to comes with an unexpected co-owner, an owner she shares a past with.
The Sweet Life is a story of healing, loss, resilience, finding love, friendship, and forgiveness. This wonderfully penned story will capture your attention right off the bat and will hold on tightly until the last page finds you. It's an engaging story rich with feelings that are destined to give your heartstrings a work-out. I loved what I found between the pages here and I am certain if you give it a chance you will love it too! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

While the story started off easy enough, I quickly became confused over the characters and how they all connected with one another. Several times I had to go back and check to see how they were connected to one another. Maybe it is just me, but I got confused over who was the mother, the father and the child and how they were inter-connected.
It did all come together at the end with a happy ending. I did like how they remained strong and didn't let the biological father back into their lives and be fooled by him. They trusted one another enough to give each other another chance and remained strong as a family unit.

I really enjoyed this book. A quick book with lots of twist that make you want to read more and hooks you in.

The Sweet Life by Debbie Mason brings us back to Sunshine Bay and the Rosetti family. This book revolves around Sage and Jake, and Gia and Flynn. There is family drama, past hurts and regrets, and strong personalities in the Rosetti women. Along with the drama, there is also unlimited love for family, forgiveness, and second chances. This is the third book in the Sunshine Bay series. I recommend reading the first two to get to know the characters and family dynamics to fully enjoy the eclectic personalities of the Rosetti women and the men who love them.

I enjoyed this book. It was an easy read. I'm looking forward to reading Debbie Mason's next book. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

I want to thak the Publisher and ntgalley for access to this ARC in exchange for my honest review
I Thought that this book gave me a lot of bang for my buck. You want a little bit of a mystery..done. You want sweet romance..done. You want family drama..done.
I havent read the other books in the series but I know they center around one family in a small town. This one has two love 💕 stories in one. Again more bang for your buck. Double lve and pining.
Gia and Flynn have recently reunited. He is her younger sisters ex. He's 6 years younger then her. Her sister is about to release a tell all book which upsets Gia as her sister ran off with Gias ex husband. Luckily Flynn is there to hold her hand through it all and show her the meaning of romance
Jake and Sage ( Gia's daughter) were once bitter enemies but they reunite when their mutual mentor, Alice is found dead. James works into Sages heart right awY as they work together to deal with Alice's death.
I thought this story was engaging and kept me on my toes. I really liked the family dynamic and the drama between the different generation of women
However I wished that there was more backstory in the first half of the story about the previous animosity of Jake and Sage plus they just seemed to immediately jump into a relationship and I wish there was more back and fourth before they got together. Also I wish there was justmore of Gia and Flynns story overall as well as backstory before they started dating

This was a pretty good book! There was a bit too many unrealistic scenarios going on, so that made it hard to root for the book. I think the humorous parts were a good add in, and the characters were just okay
Thank you to NetGalley, to the author, and to the publisher for this complimentary ARC in exchange for my honest review!!!

This is the third book in the Sunshine Bay series. Having not read the first two novels, I feel this one does moderately well as a stand-alone book. There are so many characters with subplots alluding to the past that it was obvious that I was missing important nuances about the characters’ relationships. The melodramatic overtones characterizing most of the personal connections detracted from the storyline of the protagonist and her grief over the loss of her mentor. Additionally, long-standing conflicts were resolved too quickly and easily under the guise of family ties.
Overall, the novel was mildly entertaining, but I have no desire to become further acquainted with the Rosetti family and
My thanks to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for the privilege of reviewing this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
This review is being posted immediately to my GoodReads account and will be posted on Amazon upon publication.

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC. This is my first Debbie Mason book. Really enjoyed reading it. Will continue reading her books.

Great revisiting the Rosetti family again. If you’re a fan of romance & family dynamics, then this is the perfect book for you. Book #3 in the Sunshine Bay series….It releases on 6-10-25 thank you NetGalley for my ARC copy.

This was a great family story. Sage is a successful divorce attorney working for a demanding law firm putting in ridiculous hours. She learns that Alice, her friend/mentor is missing and rushes home to find her old nemesis there as well. They learn that Alice, has died and they are both crushed. Meanwhile, her aunt Cami and her mom are at odds. Cami has written a book with family secrets; her sister is really her cousin; her aunt ran off with her father and things are crazy in this Italian family. There is a lot of drama, a lot of love and great storytelling. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley, and this is my honest review.

Debbie Mason is an auto buy author for me. Her latest, The Sweet Life was a five star read. Pick up this one on publication day.

We return to Sunshine Bay with this adventure featuring the Rosetti women and the men who love them. The book, as all of Debbie Mason’s books, is filled with family drama, laughter, misunderstandings, high emotions, and plenty of love. This book follows Sage and Jake as they try to come to terms with the legacy of a woman who’s been a mentor to each of them, while also exploring the feelings they have for each other. It also features Gia and Flynn, their relationships with their adult children, and with Gia’s sister Cami while trying to forge their own happily ever after. Add in a bit of mystery, and the reader is taken on a thrilling emotional ride with laughter, tears, and tender passion.
