I didn't realize this was #2 in a series when I requested it so I had to go read book 1 first. I hate to not be on top of things.
I love the nerd theme of this book. Being a nerd myself, it made it easy to connect with Charlie. And the love story between Charlie and Jonah was really sweet and sexy. I love a little second chance love.
Schroeder did a good job with pacing. Her writing flowed well. The plot was unusual and different from other stories I read. And there were no pot holes that I could see. I will say you do need a working understanding of Role Play Games to understand some of what happens int he books. I only know some of that due to my kids as I don't play. Looking back now, I see I really didn't need to read the first book to understand this one, but I'm happy I did.
Overall this book was a fun, quick, and easy read.

I loved this book and could not stop reading all of the books in the series.
