I loved this one! Probably my new favorite of the series.
Ginger is wild and sassy and has been in love with Cole forever, however he is older and her best friends brother therefore they can only be “secret” friends. Cole also has secret feelings for Ginger but as a single dad he doesn’t have time for himself. Enter a wild night in Vegas and these two head home hitched 🤭 The banter between these two had me kicking my feet laughing and the spice when they finally gave in to their longing🥵
I knew these two were end game since book 1 and it was so satisfying seeing them finally come together and become a family.
Thank you Paisley Hope, NetGalley, and Random House- Ballantine for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
If you’re looking for a new cowboy series, saddle up and head to Silver Pines Ranch!

Hi, hello, I'm a Paisley Hope stan account. Everything she's written has been a 5 star read. I've been waiting for Ginger and Cole's story ever since book one in the Silver Pines Ranch series due to their HOT and undeniable sexual chemistry and flirty banter. Woo boy, this one didn't disappoint! 🥵
Cole and Ginger go to Las Vegas for CeCe and Nash's joint bachelor/bachelorette parties and find themselves hitched after one drunken night of truth or dare. Instead of getting divorced, they decide to stay married until at least Cole's probationary period of being the new sheriff is over (among other reasons) and to keep their marriage a secret. But when Ginger moves in
with Cole during the summer to help with Mabel, it starts getting harder to deny their feelings for each other.
Ginger is my sassy girl. I just absolutely love her. She's been crushing on Cole since they were young and hiding her feelings for him in cheeky banter and pranks. But Cole also has secrets of his own when it comes to Ginger and once he's able to fully let himself go for her, holy moly! That man falls HARD! 🔥 And adorable Mabel and her swear jar had me cracking up throughout the book. Those three together are so freaking cute! 😍
Thank you so much to Dell for the advanced copy! 🖤

This was such a great read. I appreciated the little snippets of the past. Ginger is a spit fire and I loved her character so much! Her personality was everything and you can see how much she cares. Even though she's 27 her parents are still on her case for not settling down. Cole is the new Sheriff and a single dad carrying everything in his shoulders.
After a drunken night in Vegas these secret besties get hitched. Unfortunately Cole's in his probationary period at work and Ginger's dad is a prominent congressmen. They simply can't get divorced so Cole comes up with the bright idea for Ginger to be his nanny while they wait out the time. What could happen with forced proximity and harbored crushes 👀
Their chemistry was off the charts and this book had some of the best banter from a couple in awhile. Their text convos had me laughing out loud. Cole's little girl was darling! Her relationship with Ginger melted my heart.
Thank you Ballantine for the gifted ebook.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Paisley Hope can write epic men.
Throughout the past two books we saw the complicated relationship between Cole and Ginger. Cole is known as the town playboy but also quite straight laced with everything involved with his daughter. Ginger is a fiery and sassy, congressman's daughter that struggles between her need to please her father and to be true to herself.
After an impulsive Vegas wedding, Ginger moves in with Cole to help be a nanny for his daughter Mabel. They decide to keep their accidental marriage a secret for now, but they cannot keep their attraction at bay for long.
I LOVED this book. They tried to fight it, but I could tell that it would not last. I loved seeing how Ginger cared for his daughter. And the way this man could dirty talk. YESSS PLEASE.
Pick this one up if you enjoy:
* Long-term pining
* Best friend's brother
* Secret friendship
* Accidental marriage
* Sherrif x nanny/teacher
* Single dad

Cole and Ginger secretly pined for each other since they were teens but she’s his little sister’s best friend, and now he’s divorced with an adorable, young daughter. Over the years, Cole and Ginger became really close friends. Neither wants to risk the possibility of damaging their friendship. Everything changes when they go with the family on a bachelor/bachelorette trip to Las Vegas and do something that can’t stay in Vegas.
This heart-warming, spicy, small town romance is book three in the Silver Pines Ranch series, but could easily be read as a stand-alone novel. If you care about tropes, this one is friends to lovers. The main characters are charming and well-rounded, and the secondary characters are a community of supportive, funny, quirky folks. Cole’s eight-year-old daughter, Mabel, is particularly smart and endearing.
It’s worth mentioning that the first few chapters felt a bit slow to me, but after the Vegas trip I was hooked. If you have the same experience, keep reading. It’s worth it!
Big thanks to Random House and NetGalley for providing an ARC copy!

Cole freakin’ Ashby… sir. Single dad, town sheriff, low-key the sweetest cinnamon roll, but also the man has the dirtiest mouth and I ate it up. And Ginger? That woman is sass, chaos, and heart in human form. The banter? Unmatched. The chemistry? Dangerous. The way they orbit around each other like they’re not obviously soulmates? Infuriatingly perfect.
Now, let’s talk Mabel. She’s the real MVP. Written like an actual kid (thank you, Paisley) but also just… a tiny emotional glue stick who somehow makes this accidental family feel real. Watching Ginger and Mabel bond was this soft little gut punch I didn’t know I needed.
Oh, and the Vegas wedding? The live-in nanny situation? The “we’ll stay married for a few months to avoid a scandal” plan that immediately spirals into “we’re in love but won’t say it out loud” chaos? I WAS SCREAMING.
This book was pure serotonin. Friends-to-lovers written with actual history and emotional weight, family dynamics that made my chest ache, and a slow burn that had me fanning myself. And then Paisley just sprinkled in Brooklyn 99 references and made me fall in love harder?? Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool…
Cole and Ginger were everything and then some. If this isn’t my favorite in the series, it’s definitely in the top two. I laughed, I blushed, I cried a little. This book wrapped me in a cozy small-town blanket and then lit it on fire with spice.

Overall: 4.5
This may be my favorite in the series thus far. I knew as soon as I met Ginger in Holding the Reins, she'd be my favorite, and I was right. I loved the back and forth between her and Cole, finding out how deep their secret friendship went, and her bond with Mabel. She was truly the missing piece to their small unit. This was well worth the wait and I cannot wait to see what's in store for the next book. Paisley knocked it out of the park with this one!

4.25⭐️
This is my new favorite book in this series. This book follows Cole and his younger sister’s best friend, Ginger. Cole and Ginger have had a secret friendship for years. Both are attracted to each other but aren’t willing to cross the line.
Until, everyone is together in Vegas for a joint bachelor/bachelorette party and Cole and Ginger wake up hung over and married. They agree to stay married quietly for the summer, Cole is the newly elected sheriff and Ginger’s dad is running for congress. Neither wants a scandal and they also don’t want to do anything to upset Cole’s sister Cece, or his daughter Mabel.
I absolutely loved Ginger, she was so unapologetically herself and I loved that. She moves in with Cole and Mabel to be her nanny for the summer, and her relationship with Mabel was so sweet. They became fast friends and the two of them ganging up on Cole was so funny. I loved watching Ginger gain her confidence, with her dad and with Cole.
Cole Ashby was next level in this book! I mean part-time cowboy, small town sheriff and a single dad, with a filthy mouth! It’s my dream combo of a book boyfriend. His relationship with Mabel was also so sweet, I have a soft spot for those sweet girl dads.
I loved the opposites attract between these two, Ginger is impulsive and fly by the seat of her pants. Cole is very organized and routine oriented. They brought out the best in each other. The tension and flirty banter was excellent and the spice was very spicy 🔥🔥.
Seeing the last couples from this series also made me so happy.

Book three in the Silver Pines Ranch series was another bingeable cowboy romance. I loved reading Ginger and Cole’s love story. I found the themes of community and self-discovery especially lovely. Pick this up if you enjoy small town, friends to lovers, marriage of convenience, single dad, or found family.

This was my favorite book in the series and one of my favorites this year! The banter between Cole and Ginger was top tier, and I absolutely adore Mabel. Friends to lovers is typically not my favorite trope, but this was so well written, I struggled to put it down. I have loved the Silver Pines series so far and can't wait for book 4! <3

***ARC Review***
Riding the High (Silver Pines Ranch #3) by Paisley Hope
Release Date: May 6th
"If I had to accidentally marry anyone, I'm glad it was you."
I really enjoyed this book!
Right form the start, I love the friendship and banter between Cole and Ginger. They give each other crap, but have a strong connection, even though they're "not friends". (Sure, Jan. 🙄)
Ginger is Cole's little sister's best friend. They've known each other a very long time, and Ginger has had a secret not-so-secret crush on him forever, but nothing ever happened between them except one fateful kiss that Cole rejected when she was 17.
Now they're all grown up, and Law Daddy and Vixen have forged a secret friendship that's actually so cute, but rides the line between harmless banter and serious flirtation. Though Ginger has been secretly pining for Cole all these years, she won't cross the line, because ever since Cole's divorce left him a full-time single dad to his 8-year-old daughter Mabel, he's been sleeping around and she refuses to be a one-night stand and ruin the good thing they have going.
When a friends getaway in Vegas and a game of Truth or Dare turns into a accidental drunken marriage for these Partners in crime, they try to avoid a scandal that could jeopardize Cole's new Sheriff position by keeping it a secret until his 90-day probationary period is over. Ginger agrees to live-in nanny over the summer, but the proximity and the obvious love she has for his daughter are a dangerous thing-- a spark that could blow up their carefully constructed walls!
Ginger and Cole's friendship and love of Brooklyn 99 made me smile. Every time they interacted I was about blushing. It's on of those relationships that everybody on the outside can absolutely tell there's something there, but the two involved are clueless or in denial.
I also really loved how good of a father Cole was, and how amazing Ginger's relationship with Mabel was. These three were perfect for each other!
And the tension and steam was so good!

I read an advanced copy of this book, and this is my honest review. Thank you to author Paisley Hope, Penguin Random House/Ballantine/Dell, and NetGalley for the ARC!

🩵 Best Friend’s brother
🩵 secret friends to lovers
🩵 Drunken Vegas wedding
🩵 Sheriff X teacher
🩵 Reformed Playboy
🩵 Fun with handcuffs
While I LOVED their banter in books 1 & 2, Cole and Ginger were so much more than I was anticipating! The history with them as secret friends, the sexual tension and pining, and the flashbacks had me swooning and kicking my feet!
The relationship that Ginger had with Cole’s daughter Maybel was so special and don’t even get me started on that lasagna or the boat scene. Just sobs (are we surprised?).
And the SPICE! You can tell these two have secretly wanted to each other for a while because once they finally get together, it’s explosive 🧨. That handcuff scene? 🥵 Perfection!
If you haven’t started this series yet, here’s your sign to start immediately!!! I can’t tell you the last time I’ve fallen in love with each book in a series like this. The small town, the Ashby family, the ranch setting, and all the found family goodness is just too wonderful to not read.
Thank you to NetGalley, Random House, and Paisley Hope for the opportunity to read Riding The High as an arc!

I have been patiently waiting for Ginger's love story ever since the first book and I was not disappointed!
The chemistry between Ginger and Cole was apparent from their EVERY interaction with one another. Their banter is so good and the way they flirtingly(?) pester one another constantly...SO STINKIN' ADORABLE! I was worried that the 'getting drunkenly married in Vegas' trope would turn me off, because I have read at least 5 other books that have done the same thing, but it felt new and fresh in this one for some reason. Maybe it was because they had been friends for so long before it happened, where as usually it's a one-sided attraction and/or an enemies-to-lovers type situation. I really loved how Cole knew when he needed to step back and let Ginger fight her own battles, while still being there for her through it all. They had reciprocated respect for each other and I really loved that. Their undeniable sexual chemistry was just a bonus :)
I still think Cece and Nash's book is my favorite, but this is a close second!

COLE AND GINGER STAN FOR LIIIIIFE.
I loved this book so dang much! Ive been waiting for it the entire series and it's finally here and did NOT disappoint!
Im always a sucker for a single dad romance! Add in the accidental marriage and this one checked all of my boxes. I loved the chaos these two brought. The bickering, the hidden/long time feelings, the banter, the SPICE AND CHEMISTRY!!! Unmatched truly!!!
I absolutely love Paisley Hopes writing and can not wait for the next book!

This was so fun, sweet, and steamy! I enjoyed every second of Riding the High! Cole’s longtime love for Ginger is actually the cutest thing EVER, and I basically lost my mind when I found out they got married in Vegas… like YASSS get yourself married to that man, girly pop!
The relationships between Cole and his daughter and Ginger and them becoming their own lil family unit was super precious and I really enjoyed it. The journey to their happy ever after was truly fantastic!
Get yourself a man that says “nah let’s stay married” so he can really keep you forever ;)
Tysm Dell / PRH and NetGalley for the eARC! Y’all are the best!

I don't know how Paisley Hope comes up with the perfect characters, but she has done it again! I thought Training the Heart was my favorite with Wade (Sarge) and Ivy. Cole (Law Daddy) and Ginger (Vixen) just took the top spot. I loved and ate this whole story up. The relationship development for Cole and Ginger was perfection. I adore Mabel and her relationship with Ginger. The Ashby family texts and the Not Angels texts were so funny. I seriously just want to live in Laurel Creek and be apart of this group.
Thank you to Netgalley, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine | Dell, and Paisley Hope for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

4 stars.
Paisley Hope's "Riding the High" is a terrific entry into the Silver Pines Ranch cowboy series. It boasts Ginger and Cole's story, features a Vegas marriage/secret relationship (as well as a secret friendship!), and is a brother's best friend/single dad romance. I enjoyed this book quite a bit. The best part about it is the chemistry between Ginger and Cole. Because they were secret friends first, their relationship is already established and palpable (and is electric!). I love a good secret/accidental/Vegas marriage of convenience. I loved watching how Ginger seamlessly integrated herself into Cole and his daughter Mabel's lives. Their three-person unit was so strong, built on such trust and devotion! Honestly, single dad romances have never been my thing, but this one might have changed my mind?? Cole was SUCH a hot dad! Ginger is a sassy main female character, and I loved her essence. When the two of them get together, it's like magic. I really dug their story a lot, and I couldn't put this book down. I adored the pining, loved the amount of spice, it tugged on my heartstrings in all the right places, it was dramatic when it needed to be, Cole was protective, Ginger was vulnerable... SO GOOD!!! Definitely pick this one up if you love cowboy romances!
Thank you to NetGalley, Paisley Hope, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, and Dell for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.

The way I've been waiting for Ginger and Cole's story!
I was expecting banter, the ultimate enemies to lovers with a side of whoooops we got married in vegas, bu was absolutely not prepared to be wrecked in the best way by their absolutely meltworthy friendship! Like where did this come from?!
This book was everything I was hoping it would be and I absolutely loved getting to watch Cole and Ginger fall in love. They both fell hard and then they each fell harder and it was just the absolutely sweetest. Do I want to go back and reread the first two books just for glimpses of them? Why yes yes I do. But now I equally can't wait for thr next book in the series!
Thank you Netgalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine | Dell for the ARC in exchange for my review!

I am a forever Paisley Hope stan. Riding the High was yet another fantastic installment in her small town series, Silver Pines Ranch and to sum up my thoughts: I love Cole and Ginger.
From book 1, there has always felt like there was more to Cole and Ginger's friendship. While they share friendship and jokes, it was clear that Ginger was holding back something important and now we finally get to see what that was, and boy did this book blow me away with the spice, swoon and everything in between.
After getting into a drunken game of truth or dare (a common event between the two of them for years), Cole and Ginger find themselves hitched at a Vegas wedding chapel during CeCe and Nash's bachelor/bachelorette parties. Instead of getting a divorce, they decide to stay married in secret for reasons and the time together turns their feelings into something much deeper than they expected.
I love Ginger. She is the vibrant, sassy best friend to CeCe but she truly stands on her own. She had so much going on with her family so seeing her find strength and support in Cole made my swoon. Speaking of Cole, when this man commits to someone, he was 100% committed. I loved seeing how gone he was for Ginger once he finally opened his eyes and saw her. I also loved that they thought they could hide their relationship from their friends and family. The sparks were clear for anyone to see, and I could not get enough of them.

✨ARC Review✨💜 Available Now!
I have been waiting for Cole and Ginger’s story since book 1 and they were so worth the wait!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
🌻Riding the High seriously has it all. I mean they’re best friends (but it’s a secret how close they are because why? Oh he’s her bestie’s brother), who accidentally get married in Vegas but stay married through the summer (to avoid a town scandal) while she becomes the nanny for his daughter. Meanwhile they finally start giving into the feelings that they have had for each other for years and start to think maybe this could be the puzzle piece their lives have been missing. 🌻
Cole is such a great dad and family man. The dedication that he gave to taking care of his daughter Mabel and always making her the priority was adorable. Seeing how Ginger came in and immediately gave Mabel so much of her attention as well was so sweet when both Mabel and Cole had been missing out on that part of their family. Ginger brought so much fun and joy into their lives.
I loved the moments that we saw and learned of Cole and Ginger’s past. The “always been you” moment in a book hits sooo good and this one was no different. The years of friendship that they had built lead to a really sweet and strong relationship that I adored. They supported each other, sometimes even without being asked, because they just knew what was needed.
This little family was everything 🥹 the best team!
