Lights Out was one of my favorite reads last year. It ticked all my boxes for the perfect dark romcom, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Caught Up. My only worry was that book two would be a copy and paste of book one. I’m elated to tell you that that was not the case.
While it has all the hilarious, laugh-out-loud banter and spice I loved in Lights Out, the characters in Caught Up feel entirely new and fresh. It’s a must-read for fans of voyeurism and play club kink.
I enjoyed the romance and was invested in how Lauren and Nico would navigate their relationship, overcoming the hurdles keeping them apart. I would have liked to see a flashback or two of their time together in high school, as it would have pulled on my emotional strings a bit more.
Oh! And if you’re someone who loves past characters making appearances, there’s a lot to be excited for in Caught Up.
Is it too soon to start counting down the days for the final book? As much as I don’t want the series to end, I’m looking forward to the new couple's story.
Thank you SO much to Zando for an e-ARC!

Well where do I even start. This was a very well written story with multiple pleasure club scenes with slow drawn out detail that had me trying to read faster. Junior and LO are the perfect couple who complement each other's faults and strengths. They have amazing chemistry and they are the victims of miscommunication and family drama. There is a mafia side plot and I'm not sure I don't love this mafia family even though I should hate them. This is a great second book in the series but I did miss the humour from book one.
