ach individual character has a lot more to offer than I think this allowed. The pan relationship is the only part of this story that felt fully explained. I anticipated Mitch being more evil, the bio brother secretly being not her brother, and the political stuff being a bigger issue. The plot just felt very flat overall. I enjoyed learning more about Beckett and his past that we don't get in the other books and Charlie was a strong fmc. I loved that she was in STEM and wasn't specifically an athlete.

This book was so good 😍 I love hockey romances and Elle Kennedy is the queen. 👑 The guys were so funny and Charlie was such an interesting character. This might be my new favorite in the series ! The narration was amazing their voices fit them so well too!

Charlotte, Will and Beckett are everything.
Will and Beckett are so swoony and wonderful. They both bring so much happiness and love to the story. Will is sweet and caring. He is so supportive of Charlie. Beckett had his own share of hard time and trauma. Charlie and Will were everything he needed.
This story is beautiful, spicy and funny. I loved every second of it.
🎧 Narration:
Persephone Lee, Teddy Hamilton and Sean Masters were amazing in this audio. They each embodied the characters and their personalities perfectly. They brought this story to life.
Thank you so much to Get Red Pr and dreamscape for this ALC.

I LOVED this audio. The voice acting was better than my imagination ever could have been! Sean absolutely killed Beckett’s accent, Teddy was incredible as always. Was this Persephone’s first audiobook?! If so, wow she was amazing!! I hope to hear her in many more!
Of course, spice was spicing and the duet acting during those scenes. 👨🍳💋

This book is a whole other level of spicy! Elle Kennedy does it again and although this book can be read as a stand alone it helps to read the other books for character development and to fully enjoy the cameo appearances. I am obsessed with all the Briar U alum that make appearances in this book (Briar U & Off Campus series) I highly recommend the audio version of this book— Teddy Hamilton, need I say more! This is a multi cast narrative and they all were fantastic.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for the audio ARC.

I never knew how badly I needed an MFM from Elle until “The Charlie Method”. I missed this world so much in anticipation of this release and, as always, Elle COMES THROUGHHH for us yall. Charlotte, Beckett and Will were truly EVERYTHING I wanted and more. Being back at Briar is always so much fun and every time we are introduced to more of this ever-growing cast of characters, our Briar U family just gets bigger. Elle’s writing is absolutely some of my favorite of all-time. I credit my sister for introducing me to Elle and I can never thank her enough. The spectrum of emotions you go through during an Elle Kennedy book is all encompassing. The way I HOWL at the hilarity of it, sweat at the spiciness, there is genuinely nothing in this world like an Elle Kennedy book.
Charlotte is our seemingly sweet sorority girl from Connecticut who lives a fairly “private” life aside from her good girl, woman in STEM persona. She is a closet BADDIE who knows what she wants from the opposite sex and has ZERO qualms in taking it. That is, until she meets Beckett and Will. She is understandably worried about what everyone else would think if they found out their “sharing” situation or the fact that she’s dating both of these men. Charlotte’s perfectionist inclinations and constant self inflicted pressure not to let anyone down is so relatable, I felt for this girl so much. I loved the way her mind worked, I loved her quippy attitude and her bits with both boys. She was truly a joy to read.
Beckett and Will, I could go on and on about these men but good lord I don’t want to divulge too much other than, 👏🏻 yes 👏🏻 please!! Elle gives us the HEAT with these two and I was an absolutely PUDDLE for them both. They were not only hotter than SIN but also so well developed and truly dynamic.
THE STAR OF THE SHOW however, ladies and gentlemen was the Dad Chat. When I tell you I was hysterically laughing. Seeing all my favorite Briar U boys as Dads NEVER gets old. You genuinely cannot go wrong with anything Elle Kennedy but I think they just keep getting better and better. This audiobook could not have delivered this story any better. Teddy, Persephone and Sean absolutely knocked it out of the park! 5/5 stars!

The Dixon Rule (book 2) was a top 24 book for me last year so I was ecstatic to be back in this world and see where things went with Will + Beckett. While I will forever be sad this wasn't a MMF situation as the previous books were screaming for it to go that way... I still enjoyed their journey and seeing their relationship with Charlie.
Charlie is a sorority girl with 2 different personas. Charlie the girl messaging 2 guys for a poly relationship on an app for a good time then Charlotte who follows all the sorority rules, excels at everything and is too busy focusing on school to think about boys. We get to see all kinds of family drama with her researching her birth family and starting that journey. And probably my favorite part about Charlie, she's a car girlie 😉.
This book has EVERYTHING family drama, relationship drama, humor, spice, past characters, dad chats 🤭 , a historical fanfic?!, side stories, hockey and of course swoony moments. Despite having everything I felt like I really struggled with the pacing at times. The other books in the series are equally as thick and never felt as slow as this one did. Especially considering how much was going on.
I wish this one worked a little better for me but there has to be a favorite and least favorite in every series I suppose.

Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape and Elle Kennedy for the early audio review copy of The Charlie Method. I was looking for an audiobook to read this week at work when I saw this available for request in NetGalley. I was so excited for the conclusion of this series and it was such a fun read!

MY THOUGHTS 💭
✨ Elle Kennedy was the very first hockey romance I ever read and I’ve never looked back
✨ I absolutely loved this one and I loved that one of the boys was Australian!
✨ The audiobook was awesome, I loved the voice actors for this one
✨ We explore some deeper topics like adoption and family pressures
✨ I wish we’d got to explore a bit more of a relationship between Beckett and Will
✨ It was fun to get some snippets from heaps of the characters from the Off Campus and Briar U series
✨ I was super sad to say goodbye to this series, I wonder if we’ll get more from this universe again

Book three in the Campus Diaries series and boy, was this a steamy one! Charlie, Will and Beckett all have their own issues but when they come together, the threesome are on fire. The chemistry was so intense that I found myself turning the volume down on my headphones for worry the kids would hear! The audio for this book was expertly done and we are treated to POVs from all three main characters. While the story was long, it didn't feel that way as the pacing of the relationship and each character's growth kept the flow. After reading this one, I think I need to go back to read book one in the series. I'm odd like that, reading book two and three first!!

Duet narration is my absolute favorite way to listen to an audiobook. I think it just brings the book and characters to life very well. I will also listen to anything that Teddy Hamilton narrates. I think that Persephone Lee and Sean Masters also did very well in this audiobook. Sean's accent is so hot. I was lucky to read The Charlie Method as an eARC first, but the re-read as audio was just as nice (and spicyyy). Loved it even more the second time around!
Thank you Get Red PR and Dreamscape Select for the ALC!

In a shock to no one who follows me, I’m back with another hockey romance review. This is my first Elle Kennedy book since reading the Off-Campus series, and it made me realize I need to keep reading the rest of her backlist!
Audiobook: The audio is about 16 hours long and is narrated by Teddy Hamilton, Sean Masters, and Persephone Lee. They do an amazing job and I could seriously listen to their voices all day! Two of the narrators are new to me, but I will always listen to anything Teddy Hamilton narrates!
What I loved: Charlie is one of my favorite FMCs I’ve read in awhile. I really related to her nerdiness, drive for success, and struggle with anxiety and needing to give off a perfect image. I was in a sorority in college and Kennedy accurately depicted the good and bad I felt about that experience. I also loved the Easter eggs & apperances of the now-grown Off-Campus characters. Kennedy does a great job writing a diverse range of scenes from humorous, to spicy, and also emotional. Will & Beckett were amazing book boyfriends and also dealt with their own share of family drama.
What I didn’t love (POTENTIAL SPOILERS): I loved the book overall, but these are my minor grievances. The scene where Will & Beckett took Charlie to “safely” do ecstasy at a rave is ridiculous. They are giving her rules to be safe but then giving her drugs? I wish there had been more follow up with her relationship with her biological brother, she kind of resolved things with him but then we don’t hear anything else about how their relationship developed. And finally, the relationship between Will, Beckett, and Charlie just seemed too perfect. They don’t really have conflict, and Charlie & Beckett just accept Will back into their dynamic after being together alone for six months with no issues.
If you want a fun, spicy hockey romance that explores a MFM relationship dynamic, with a heavy dose of family drama, then definitely read this one!
Thank you to Dreamscape Select, Elle Kennedy, and Get Red PR for providing me with a copy of this audiobook. This review is voluntary, and all opinions expressed are my own.

The Charlie Method is a scorching, heartfelt romance that explores identity, self-acceptance, and breaking free from societal expectations. Charlie is on a journey of figuring out who she really is beyond others’ perceptions, while Will and Beckett grapple with the pressure of family and public scrutiny. Their story is about embracing passion, choosing happiness, and defying the rules to find love on their own terms.
Persephone Lee is phenomenal as Charlie, capturing her boldness, wit, and vulnerability in a way that makes you feel every moment of her journey.
Teddy Hamilton delivers Will’s charm and inner conflict flawlessly, balancing his easygoing persona with the weight of his struggles.
Sean Masters shines as Beckett, bringing a rugged yet deeply emotional depth to his character, making him impossible not to love. And his Australian accent is wonderful!
With stellar performances and sizzling chemistry, The Charlie Method is a must-listen if you like steamy, character-driven sports romances!

Wow! This book sucked me in from the very beginning. The narrators did a fantastic job. I loved all three of them.
This is the story of Charlotte, who is in STEM and is prim, proper, and studious during the day. But, she has another side she tries very hard to keep under wrap. That side loves adrenaline and throwing caution to the wind. It's that side that has her swiping to match with two faceless boys on a hook up app. The boys are ones she already knows but doesn't realize it yet. Beckett, the outgoing charming Aussie, and Will the kid and funny politicians son.
What ensues is a story about accepting yourself and finding your true people in life. And, of course, love.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and definitely recommend it.

as expected…this was steamy, tension filled, thought provoking, & heartbreaking!! there was a complete twist i did not expect that had me gasping!! even *i* felt betrayed by this event…& then another twist just the same happened again & i couldn’t believe it!! but by the end it all worked out for the better & im happy to continue on with anything elle wants to give us!!

Guys do yourself a favor and listen to this audiobook. I am so lucky to have gotten a chance to listen to the audiobook early and it was so stinking good!. All three of the point of view characters get a different narrator and it just made this story pop off the page. I was blown away by how good the audiobook was! I’m a huge fan of this entire universe that Elle Kennedy has written. I loved how so many of our legacy characters popped up in the book. I know this is the last one in this spinoff series, but hopefully we continue to get more!
Thank you #NetGalley for the ALC in exchange for an honest review

I have read all of the books in The Campus Diaries series, as well as the original Off-Campus series, so I was delighted to receive an advanced listening copy of The Charlie Method. And, I will say, this book stretched me with its exploration of polyamory with our female lead, Charlotte/Charlie, falling in love and having consensual, non-monogamous relationships with both Beckett Dunne and Will Larsen after meeting them on a dating app.
I appreciated the character development of Charlie with the exploration of her experience as a transracial adoptee and her method for decision making, which gives form and function to catastrophizing.
The three narrators amplified the story and brought unique insight to the story.
Many thanks to the author, narrators, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me.

The Charlie Method - Elle Kennedy
This was my 1st ever Elle Kennedy book! I know, crazy right? I've heard about her books on all the socials for a couple years I just haven't gotten around to it until now.
I understand now why her books are popular. This was a fun, sweet MFM hockey romance.
Charlie matches with 2 best friends on a dating app and has to decide if she's ready for what they're offering. As their conversation progresses they realize that they may not be strangers after all.
There was a lot of side story and character development in this book. It wasn't just about how MFM works in the bedroom and a relationship but it was three unique people and their lives and how they fit together.
I really enjoyed this audiobook and will be diving into more of Elle's books going forward.
The narrators were great, I am not super familiar with Sean Masters or Persephone Lee but they did a great job. Join them up with Teddy Hamilton and it's a homerun!

I ATE THIS BOOK UP SO FAST. What did she put in this book?! Ambrose!
On the narrators 🎧: Teddy Hamilton, Sean Masters & Persephone Lee, you gave this book your top performance! Truly embracing the characters and what they embodied. They were the perfect choice for us to love and read these characters' romance and personal journeys with!
I usually hate accents in books, but Sean Master you changed my tune on that one.
These narrators worked so well together that I will be checking out other works from them too - like I already do with Teddy Hamilton.
Onto the story📚: I think this is my favorite book of the Campus Diaries series and my favorite book by Elle Kennedy to date.
All the spicy scenes, the dirty talk moments, and the tense build-up were a delicious part of the book - as a smut reader, I ate it all up. Communication is a huge part of this book with the sincere scenes and the sexual ones. It's a core element, that is used by many of the characters to help themselves or the others work in this relationship. I respected that healthy trope in my smut!
The emotional journey we went through with the characters was also a delightful surprise.
Much like the characters, the Charlie method had a lot of layers to it.
Charlie, Will & Beckett are all dealing with family drama, personal struggles & views about their futures that both drastically differ but also mirror each other in ways. The strained relationship of Will & his father mirroring the tentative relationship between Charlie & her long lost brother. Charlie's fear & doubt over her future, due to her anxious mindset, matching Beckett's pain and hurt from his past affecting his future.
This book didn't shy away on things. It had a lot of dealing with society's view on what is the norm; slut shaming vs sex positive, double standards, what is a healthy loving relationship etc.
As a whole this book was entertaining, kept my interest & exceeded my hopes. Highly recommend!
BONUS:
a) I really loved those fanfiction moments we got of "the Virgin & the Blade." Kind of need the fanfiction to drop asap!
b) some are definitely gonna hate those last 3- 4 chapters before the last one/epilogue BUT I think it was vital for character growth for Will, and an excellent way to show that a relationship with Beck/Charlie/Will would survive and thrive because he was sure!

This is the kind of audiobook I love to listen to. The male and female narrators only spoke their parts no matter whose point of view it was. I think it brings the story to life a bit more that way.
As for the story itself, it was pretty hot! This spoke to a polyamorous relationship with touching on all the hesitancy and caution you would realistically see for the three giving it a try. I loved all three characters and rooted for them.
The dad chat group was hilarious. I would have loved more of that. I hated the ex. I wanted see him get taken down a peg. And the extra character, that I don’t want to spoil…my heart went out to his childhood.

These three were fabulous on their own, but together, they are a special kind of magical! All of them are a serious case of “what you see isn’t what’s true” and they have depths, fears, worries, and emotions that they hide, some even from themselves. Charlie is the most obvious split, and she is well aware of it, and embraces it. Will has become so used to doing what he should and not rocking the boat, parts of him are buried so deep. Beck was the surprise, because we knew there was more, but how much more wasn’t clear. Together, they work through it all. Together, they find the way to make it work. Together, they create a relationship specifically tailored to them, their needs, their personalities, and their love <3
p.s. We get some moments with the OG’s and next class, and they made for some absolute hysterical moments 😊 😊 😊
