George and Lucas are polar opposites who clash at every opportunity, which makes it interesting to be on the same rowing team at Cambridge University. When all-American charmer George gets outted as getting a pass on his subpar grades due to his athleticism, he turns to brainy and awkward Lucas for help. They trade academic lessons for flirting lessons and begin seducing and cheating their way towards their goals.

It's a very sweet story of two fish out of water, young men trying to fit in by forcing themselves to be something they're not. It's very sweet to see them grow as they find someone who believes in them, helping them have self-confidence and figure out what it is they truly want.

Delighted thanks to NetGalley and Slowburn for the charming read!
