This book was better than the first one in my opinion because there were less plot holes and Adam isn't in it. I think Jeneva Rose can do a good job crafting a bingeable thriller to keep you hooked, but her twists occasionally make me mad- this was better than some of her others! I liked the differing narrators they did a great job of embodying their characters.

I failed to realize this is the SECOND BOOK in a series?! So I did not read the Perfect Marriage first and instead read the Perfect Divorce first. I do think I would have understood some references more had I of read the first book first. However, this was still a good and enjoyable psychological thriller. I was guessing through the entire novel at who was behind everything and while I had my suspicions, watching everything unfold - weather I was right or wrong - was fascinating. I can't wait to go back and read the first book now and dive deeper into the authors bibliography.

I had a really fun time listening to this book. One thing that stood out right away was the use of multiple narrators in the audiobook - it made it easier to track the shifts in perspective and added energy to the storytelling.
This thriller starts off strong and doesn’t really let up. It’s fast-paced, dramatic, and completely over-the-top in the best possible way. The plot is absolutely wild and at times totally implausible, but I didn’t mind—it was still thoroughly entertaining. Sarah is sharp and relentless, and while I wouldn’t say I liked her or Bob (her current husband), I was definitely hooked watching them play their twisted little game.
There’s a real cat-and-mouse dynamic here, and the tension between the two is what really drives the story. Just when I thought I had a handle on where it was all headed, Jeneva Rose would throw in another surprise. The drama, betrayal, and legal twists kept me on edge the whole time.
Sarah’s character return felt authentic—Jeneva Rose did a great job bringing us back into her world after The Perfect Marriage. The connections to that earlier book added depth without making it required reading.
Sure, some parts were exaggerated and a bit unrealistic, but they never took me out of the story. If you’re into fast-paced domestic thrillers with morally gray characters, unexpected turns, and a plot that just keeps escalating, this is a solid pick.
My copy of this book was provided by NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for review purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

You know what makes Jeneva Rose so special? She writes psychological thrillers, but she’s so naturally funny that her characters end up being hilarious too, and The Perfect Divorce is no exception.
This story follows two entitled a-holes who absolutely deserved each other, married each other, and are now divorcing each other. They’re the kind of people who would make you roll your eyes in real life, yet somehow they’ll have you giggling more than once. That’s the Jeneva's magic.
I don’t think she originally planned for a sequel to The Perfect Marriage, but after its success, here we are, and she found the perfect way to deliver it. I really enjoyed it, the narration was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be recommending it!

"Till death do us part. Yours. Not mine"
Sarah is back and going through a divorce, and we all know how her first one ended... Or at least how it ended for her cheating ex and his dead mistress. Makes me believe that Sarah might be a problem, or she has really bad choices in men. But one thing is for certain she is cunning, smart and willing to do what it takes to keep her life together.
This book gives three intriguing mysteries: a missing one-night stand, the reopening of Kelly Summers’ murder case, and the suspicious death of a cop.
Grab your blanket, water and be ready to sit in your seat and get through this book. I was able to listen and follow along with my personal copy and loved every second of it. I was addicted and will say the second book is better than the first. And to make sure I don't give anything away, I will stop my thoughts here and just tell you it is worth reading.
I received an advance review copy audio version. Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing - Audiobooks, for the opportunity to listen to this book. Mozahn Navabi, J.S. Arquin, Adam Lazarre- White, Brittany Pressley, Andi Arndt and Andrew Eiden an amazing job narrating this audiobook
I love reading authors that live in my home state. I watch Jeneva's TikTok's and love her twirls and always check to see if there are signatures in her books when I'm out. I am not a huge thriller reader but for her I do pick up those books.

Fast, juicy, and entertaining. Twisty enough to keep me hooked, even if a bit over-the-top at times. Perfect for a quick binge listen! I think it could have ended with book one, because book two was similar ish.

What an amazing read kept you from page one with an unexpected twist at the end this series has abeen fun to read with the details and the twist. It's a must read

I LOVED this sequel! The full cast audio was so much fun, and all of the narrators were great. This audiobook was so easy to listen to; I didn't want it to end. I really enjoyed how the story played out and how Sarah plotted against another husband -- she truly is a mastermind! I will definitely recommend this book (and The Perfect Marriage) to anyone looking for a great, fast-paced thriller!

I loved the perfect marriage and just knew I had to request the sequel and it did not disappoint.
I love Jeneva Rose's writing, the story is so well crafted and our characters really do feel real, they have been so well created you could sense the emotion and actions perfectly.
The audio for this is incredible, a cast of characters for the different roles and read so quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed.

there was so much going on in this book i almost couldn't keep track! lol I enjoyed this one a lot , especially the ending.

I got very confused in this one. I don't know if I should have reread the first, or if there were too many characters, or what. Oh well, I still love the author and will read anything they write.

Was full of gripping polt and twists. I felt like I was read a true crime mystery story. It felt realistic and it was satisfying. I still can't believe the ending.

I liked how the book had three different mysteries that Sheriff Hudson had to solve. There were many twists and it left me guessing until the end! I enjoyed the narrators and the pace of the book.

I really enjoyed this sequel! I had seen some mixed reviews and went into the audiobook skeptical. I loved the plot and found the characters enjoyable.

The Perfect Divorce picks up 11 years after The Perfect Marriage, and Sarah Morgan has moved on with her life, remarried to fellow attorney Robert (Bob), with whom she has a daughter. The past is the past... Or is it?
When Bob admits to having a one-night stand, Sarah immediately files for divorce, and suddenly his mistress goes missing. At the same time, new evidence in Adam's case (Sarah's ex-husband from The Perfect Marriage) comes to light and things between Sarah and Bob start to get dirty.
I'm going to start by noting that I listened to the first in this dudoligy a few years ago and I wasn't exactly a fan. I found it to be predictable, and unfortunately, this was the same. Not to spoil it for anyone, but it follows the same formula and there wasn't much excitement or suspense to it at all. I found myself zoning out often while listening and maybe I should have DNF'd it, but I was holding out for a wow ending ...
I have enjoyed a book by this author since listening to her first one, and I find her hilarous on socials, which why I was hoping this one would be worth a listen. Unfortunately, this one just wasn't for me.
Thanks to the team at @NetGalley and @blackstonepublishing for approving my request to listen and review The Perfect Divorce.

Loved this! The narrators were great! The story was so good, but definitely read the Perfect Marriage first. I could not wait to keep listening. So good!

The Perfect Marriage introduced us to the ruthless and merciless Sarah Morgan and her saga/antics continue with this sequel. Rose’s writing is darkly humorous and highly entertaining. The narrator does a perfect job depicting this. For fans of Kaira Rouda and Liv Constantine.

I liked this book better than the first. I don’t know how to review it without giving the first book away. I just love how the characters seem deeper and darker than the first one. Knowing what we know about the characters, as a reader we seem to pick up on more subtle hints…kinda like a little game of Clue

Listening to the audiobook version kept me on my toes. It was thrilling from the get-go. I appreciated the varied perspectives of the characters instead of just one or two characters. The pace of the book left me insatiable, and I binged it. Well-written, and the characters were thoroughly crafted.

Jeneva Rose once again tells a twisting tale that zigs when you think it should zag. The Perfect Divorce is a dark suspense novel.
