If you love a good why choose romance that makes you question how they all go from enemies to lovers and the most kickass, bad ass FMC, you need to check this out. I am so excited that Jasmine had Pyscho Shifters picked up for trad publishing. This is such a fun, good read that you need to stop reading this and go read the book and the rest of the series.
Thanks NetGalley for an ARC!

Jasmine Mas dives headfirst into the reverse harem shifter genre with Psycho Shifters, delivering a gritty and fast-paced paranormal romance that doesn’t hold back. From the opening chapter, the story grabs you with its raw energy, bold characters, and unapologetic intensity.
Our heroine finds herself entangled with a pack of dangerously unpredictable shifters, each more volatile, magnetic, and morally gray than the last. The dynamic between them is messy, primal, and layered with just enough emotional tension to keep you turning the pages. If you enjoy alpha energy, unfiltered chemistry, and a heroine who doesn’t back down, this is your kind of book. The tone is edgy and deliberately over-the-top, with a constant push-and-pull between attraction and danger. While the plot can feel chaotic at times and leans heavily on shock value and drama, that’s part of the appeal for fans of darker, high-octane paranormal romance.
Psycho Shifters doesn’t aim to be subtle. It’s bold, intense, and made for readers who crave wild, morally twisted anti-heroes and addictive tension. A guilty pleasure read with bite.

I finally read Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas and y’all—this book is UNHINGED in the best possible way 😤🔥
Sadie is the snarky, self-deprecating, chaotic little alpha I didn’t know I needed. 👑 She's stuck with three giant, tatted-up, horned roommates who train like killers and act like Sadie’s existence personally offends them 🖕😈
But guess what? They think she’s weak. Powerless. A fluke.
They 👏 Are 👏 So 👏 Wrong 👏
💀 This book is pure bully academy, why-choose, morally gray, alpha-male shifter chaos. It’s steamy, unhinged, and unfiltered.
Is the plot a little messy? Yes.
Do I care? Absolutely not.
I was here for the ✨feral vibes✨ and that Jax POV chapter had me straight-up feral. 👀🩸
🔪 White-haired, tiny alpha Sadie is the underdog I'm rooting for.
🐍 Cobra and Ascher? I’m waiting for your POVs.
🤡 Also… y’all trusted Ascher but not Sadie? Make it make sense.
If you love:
⚔️ Extreme enemies-to-lovers
🔥 Alpha males being obsessed psychos
🐾 Feral magic + sexy shifter training
😈 A heroine who bites back (literally)
Then Psycho Shifters needs to be on your TBR like yesterday.

4 stars ⭐️ If I had to describe Psycho Shifters in one word, it would be addicting. I could not stop reading it!! Go into it with an open mind and I promise you’ll enjoy it!
What to expect:
- why choose romance
- morally grey characters
- enemies to lovers
Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the ARC. All opinions are my own 🫶🏼

🌶️🌶️.5
This book does end on a cliffhanger! So definitely be prepared for that. I do want to read the next one. It was starting to get very good at the end where I wanted the story to add more.
I have read quite a few shifter romances and the more recent ones have fell short for me but this one was enjoyable. At this moment Cobra is my favorite.
Do you check your trigger warnings because there is some heavy topics brought up especially abuse.
The main thing I did not like about this book which made me laugh. Every time that her abusers name is brought up, Dick. So whenever she would talk about him, it made it seem like she’s talking about the body part. Even in what was supposed to be a serious moment I would laugh just because the name being thrown out like that is just so jarring but other than that, it was an enjoyable book.

I'll give this about a 3.5 but rounding up for pure entertainment. I read BoH and I enjoy Jasmine's humor which is why I wanted to pick this up. It does feel a little familiar to BoH but maybe that's just me not reading enough fantasy WC books, who knows. The book is entertaining and I am excited to read the rest of the series.
Also, whoever is producing these audiobooks for her *chefs kiss* with the casting. Always a fun time.
Thanks so much to HTP, Jasmine and Netgalley for the opportunity to review this title. I attest that I am leaving my review voluntarily and honestly

I started this book and it seemed very familiar. With a bit of research I discovered it was originally published in 2022. I also started reading it in the Summer of 2022. LOL - As I recall, I had a hard time with the start of this. There was a lot of beating of children and I just couldn't stomach it. Sadly I did not finish reading it. The older I get the less I can tolerate even fiction where children or animals are hurt. Thank you for allowing me this preview and I wish Ms. Mas nothing but success.

This slow-burn, reverse harem story is both a coming-of-age story and a romance. From the first few pages I was hooked on our main character and her unbending will (and her slightly crazy personality, lol). The main male characters are hot, hot, hot (all 3 of them) and I found myself wishing that the slow-burn attraction between them would combust and ignite. Alas, I found myself still burning with the sexual tension this book provides at the end, and I immediately went and purchased Psycho Fae (the second novel in this series) so I could find out what happened to our main characters after the cliff hanger ending of this first novel.
You can tell that this seems to be an earlier work of Mas, the writing is a bit less smooth than that of the other novel I've read by her, yet this novel was still very enjoyable and I'm excited to start the next book in the series and find out what happened!
Spice level 3.5/5 (impeccable spice, but I wish there was more of it ;) )
(Also, I love that this is getting the sprayed edge treatment, I can't wait to get a physical copy on my bookcase to admire!)
Thank you to NetGalley, Harlequin Trade Publishing, and Jasmine Mas for letting me read an eARC of this novel prior to it being traditionally published.

That was so much fun! It felt like the very best side of AO3 and read very much like a serial story printed. It’s a unique omegaverse that felt much more romantasy than traditional shifter books and I have all sorts of theories about what happens next. I’m really curious to know how a certain alpha redeems himself and I want to watch Sadie continue to grow in her general badassery. So many of her quips and comments made me laugh out loud and I genuinely enjoyed her perspective.
I received an ARC through NetGalley in advance of the Harlequin acquisition and printing in exchange for my honest review and I’m so glad I did!

A steamy shifter romance with a why choose touch here and I’ll kill you vibe. A fast fun read, I read it in one sitting.

Unfortunately, this one just didn’t work for me. I’ve tried reading another book by this author before and ran into a similar issue—something about the way the female characters are written just doesn’t click with me. Their inner monologues and reactions often come across as overly immature or childlike, which makes it tough for me to stay engaged.
In this story, the FMC is meant to be tough and driven, with layers of vulnerability underneath, but I had a hard time connecting with her. She didn’t feel fully developed, and it took me out of the story—especially during the more intense or romantic moments. I actually enjoyed a few of the male POVs more since they felt a bit more grounded, but that contrast just made the dynamic between characters feel a little off.
That said, there were some moments I enjoyed, and I do think there’s potential here. This just wasn’t the right fit for me personally, mostly due to the main character’s voice and personality.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC

I’ll start off by saying that if you like these 3 things you will probably like this book
1. Omegaverse
2. Bully romance
3. Jasmine Mas’ writing
I wanted to give it a shot after Blood of Hercules to see if I liked a different book by her more and I have to say it’s a mixed reaction. This is a bit different from an other omegaverse/shifter stuff I’ve read because the FMC, Sadie, is an alpha. When she finds that out she gets whisked away to the front lines of the shifter war with the fae and has to train with the 3 alpha males already there.
1. Jax, the only nice one. I do like him.
2. Cobra, 🐍 mean but he has reasons I guess
3. Ascher, mean and feels the need to use the word sl*t 17 times
It is very similar to Blood of Hercules where there is a weak so small tiny pathetic little girl who has to train and fight with the big scary steps sexy men. And she has a weird “dark side” numbness she can turn on instead of an imaginary snake friend (she gets one of those too tho)
With all that said…. I might still read book 2 😂

I saw a lot of similarities in Sadie’s character and the blood of Hercules by the same author. So if you don’t like that style, this wouldn’t be for you. The world building and character development is more rapid in this book. It does have some plot twists and leaves some items outstanding with a cliff hanger making you want to continue reading the series. The writing did need more editing, there were lots of spacing issues throughout.

ARC Review: Psycho Shifters
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Spice: 🌶️🌶️
Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas is a fast-paced, addictive shifter romance that delivers strong characters, gritty tension, and a world you’ll want more of immediately.
The FMC is fierce, determined to prove herself in a brutal world where she’s underestimated by her three massive, tattooed, and otherworldly roommates—Jax, Ascher, and Cobra. Their dynamic is charged with tension, and watching her rise to the challenge is deeply satisfying.
A major plot twist adds extra punch, and while the spice is light in this book, the buildup promises plenty to come. A strong start to a wild ride—I’m hooked and can’t wait for the next one.
Thank you to @htp_hive @netgalley and @jasminemasbooks for the ARC!

This was more of a 3.5 because I could not put it down even though it was definitely not the most amazing thing I've read recently. I loved the premise and a badass FMC, and it was not that she wasn't those things... I just didn't connect with her or the book as much as I would've liked. I think the book can be summarized as fun, easy to read, relatively low stakes, but will not be entirely memorable.

I think I’m just meant to love anything Jasmine Mas puts out. I’m obsessed with her writing style and brand of humor- she leans dark and I like it. I’m a sucker for an RH so I absolutely ate this book up and cannot wait to get to book 2. Her characters just hook me and the spice is always popping.

🔥 Initial Reaction:
If I'm ever in the mood for pure chaos, hot alpha energy, and a main character who gives zero effs, Jasmine Mas is my go-to. Psycho Shifters was my first foray into the omegaverse, and… wow. It was a wild ride.
💡 What Drew Me In:
The title alone promised mayhem, and it absolutely delivered. A sarcastic, tough-as-nails female lead in a reverse harem setup? Say less. Sadie is the kind of unbothered, whip-smart heroine that immediately makes you root for her—even when the world she’s thrown into makes no damn sense.
🌍 Worldbuilding & Tropes:
Mas throws us into a unique shifter realm that’s brimming with potential, but also a bit chaotic in its execution. I loved the concept of Sadie discovering she’s the first female alpha—an omegaverse twist I wasn’t expecting and one that was handled with signature Jasmine Mas humor. The world is imaginative, but also feels like it’s sprinting ahead without quite letting readers catch up. There are plot threads dangling everywhere, and not much clarity by the end.
👥 Characters:
This harem? Peak morally grey dysfunction—and I loved it. Each of the guys is totally unhinged in their own way, but all completely obsessed with Sadie. She holds her own though, which makes the dynamic all the more fun. The banter? Sharp. The tension? Spicy. But what I appreciated most was that each character actually felt distinct, even in their madness.
📈 Pacing & Plot:
This book is here for a good time, not a deep one. The pace is fast, the chaos is high, and the plot? Well… it’s kind of there. While I appreciate that this is the first in a series, the total lack of direction by the end didn’t exactly hook me for book two. I had fun, but I also had questions—and not in the “ooh I’m intrigued” way, more in the “wait, what just happened?” kind of way.
🧾 Final Thoughts:
Psycho Shifters is exactly what it promises to be: unhinged, over-the-top, laugh-out-loud fun with just enough heart to keep it interesting. If you're looking for a high-drama, high-heat escape and you don’t mind a few plot holes, this is a great weekend binge. Will I read the rest of the series? Maybe. But for now, I'm happy I survived this chaotic rollercoaster.

Ohhh my! This was such a great read. This was my first from this author but definitely won’t be my last. This was everything and more I love in a fantasy novel. The world building and characters..chef’s kiss!

Review goes live June 6
Is this a literary masterpiece? No. Is it a fun time and a wild ride? Yes.
I have read the indie version of this book and on this re-read I was just as entertained as I was the first time. Sadie is a (slightly) crazy FMC with a constant stream of outrageous consciousness in her first person POV. Jasmine definitely has a type of FMC she likes to write because Sadie is very similar to Alexis from Blood of Hercules. I do feel like Sadie is a little less unhinged than Alexis is though. It definitely takes some getting used to these wild FMCs, but I think it's worth it.
I think a lot of people will enjoy it because of it's fast paced nature. But this book does contain a lot of heavy themes, so please be sure to check the trigger warnings on the author's website.

Thank you, NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing, for giving me this eARC in exchange for an honest review!
Every time I read a book by Jasmine Mas, I know that I'm going to be giggling and kicking my feet in the air. I loved this book and I could not put it down!!
I loved Sadie's character. She was such a badass, and I give her props for never wanting to give up, because I know that I would have wanted to give up if I were doing the training that she was. She stood up for herself, even if it meant coming face to face with a 7-foot-tall Alpha. She wouldn't back down, and that's just so badass, because I know that voice would be shaking and I would be scared shitless. I am wondering more about Sadie's powers and what she can really do. I loved Sadie's internal monologue, she is so funny. I was laughing so hard while I was reading the book!
I loved the trainers. I wish that there was a little more romance between them with Sadie, but atlas am hopeful this is a slow burn and we will get more in the next book. It does feel very slow burn, but it's worth it. You will still get a little spicy, why choose while you're reading. I love the bantering that Sadie has with the boys, she will never back down.
Overall, I loved this book, and I can't wait to read the next one in the series. 5/5 stars!!
