A weird, confusing, and atmospheric read but in the best possible way. I devoured all but 40 pages of this book in 12 hours. I found that once I started, I just couldn’t stop. I needed to know what in the ever loving heck was happening. At one point towards the end, I didn’t even know how I was going to review this book because I loved it, but I was still so confused. Fortunately, by the end, I got the answers I needed that made this a 4 Star read for me. Plus, the symbolism, allegories, and imagery in here just keep smacking you left and right. Ugh, so good! I’m really looking forward to more books by this author because she has a knack for giving you all the feels and really making you question everything.

Mysterious and exciting. A great read for young adults and adults alike!

This was a great book to read at night..a potentially cursed family, many accidental deaths. I enjoyed reading about one teen's attempts to figure it out. Creepy tone overall that I enjoyed. I liked the quick pace of the writing. It made for a 1 sitting read (I stayed up too late).
