SHORT SYNOPSIS:
Meli is determined to save her family’s legacy—even if it means turning to her ex-husband, Aaron, who she impulsively married in Vegas for all of 24 hours (give or take). But when Aaron suggests they actually get married again to help both of their goals, Meli agrees— but does her best not to fall for him. (Spoiler alert: easier said than done.)
MY THOUGHTS:
How have I never read a Kerry Lonsdale book before?! I devoured this in less than 24 hours—something that rarely happens for me these days. I was completely hooked.
Aaron and Meli had such sizzling chemistry and the banter was top tier. The twists? So well done. What looked like a fun romance on the surface delivered way more emotional depth than I expected. At under 300 pages, it’s a quick read—but one that hits in all the best ways.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Amanda Leigh Cobb, and she brought Meli’s emotions and resilience to life so beautifully.
WHAT YOU’LL FIND:
💍 Marriage of convenience
💔 Second chance romance
🏡 Forced proximity
👨👩👧👦 Complicated family dynamics
💬 A+ banter

Thanks to Brilliance Audio, Kerry Lonsdale, and Booked with the Emilys for the gifted copy of this book!
Meli Hynes once got married in Vegas... but it only lasted for 24 hours. Now, her uncle is planning to sell the family business to a competitor, and fate just has it that her competitor's son is also her ex-husband, so she finds herself back in his arms.
FALLING FOR YOU AGAIN takes marriage of convenience to the next level in such a good way! I loved the dynamic betweeen Meli and Aaron, and thought that they were such an easy couple to root for despite some shocking twists and turns. Their relationship grows well amidst the business decisions being made, and both storylines were very engaging. This is just a really cute and fun read, and absolutely perfect for the summer! It's perfect to throw in your beach bag, and also a great, quick audio narrated by Amanda Leigh Cobb.

Meli and Aaron have such a beautiful love story.
From their first meeting their chemistry leaps off the page and it’s clear they have a connection that they wouldn’t find anywhere else.
Both characters have complicated relationships with their families that lead to not want to enter into marriage. This second chance story is told through giving the reader glimpses into the past. Lonsdale’s does a great job of hi-lighting the world of artisans.
Read this one if you love:
💗Second chance romance
💜Artistry
💗On again/off again
💜Complicated family dynamics
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read an early copy, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I also listened to the audio version and absolutely loved the narrator and how she captured the characters.

This book was wonderful. It is so much more than a romance, while Meli and Aaron's story is truly the most wonderful part of this story, there was so much more. This book is about forgiveness and healing. Meli's childhood and the beliefs that she has been lead to be true rule so much of her story. Meli is an amazing craftswoman. She is set to take over as the 3rd generation to run her family's business, however an email changes her whole world. In a quest to get what she rightfully believes is due to her, she comes up with a plan to get the Corporation set to buy her family legacy to withdraw their bid. I loved learning about how even thinking that love can't last, Meli was set to be married. I love what transpired during her day and the days that followed. Aaron is truly a good man. He is so wonderful. His willingness to step in and do what he can to help Meli. I know he had his own motives but holy cow, he is swoon worthy.
This book make me laugh and cry. I loved the relationship between Emi and Meli. Their friendship is beautiful. Emi was willing to fight for Meli and let her know that she deserved more from her Uncle and her parents. I love that when she was falling apart Emi held her together. Although the best advice came from an unlikely source.
The ending was perfection. The only hiccup I saw fixed itself (Fallen). I know from the first mention of her that I would not be a fan.
The narrator for the audiobook did a wonderful job. Such a wonderful story
Thank you to Lake Union and NetGalley for the ARC of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

Another fantastic book by Kerry Lonsdale! Meli is a runaway bride, leaving her fiance at the altar because marrying him wasn't the best for her. She hops on a plane where she meets Aaron. They hit it off and spend hours getting to know each other. They decide to get hitched for twenty four hours in Vegas, expressing to each other the importance of wedding vows and what each of them will look for in a spouse. I really rooted for them and was so happy to see them reunite years later. I enjoyed getting to know these two early on in the story. I especially appreciated that their relationship started emotionally, which felt like such a geniune connection between them. This is a unique twist on friendship, romance, complicated family dynamics, forgiveness and true love. I will be recommending this book to all my friends.
The audio book was fantastic to listen to while working.

I listened to the audiobook. It is such a delightful read, but there is a gut punching twist! So much I want to say about that, but all I will say is that this is a must-read! It is a feel-good, all the emotions, and have the tissues handy read!

As always, I absolutely LOVED this Kerry Lonsdale book! I really enjoyed the characters, and although the premise is REALLY out there, it was a refreshing and fun book. I loved the characters, and the purity of the relationships. I love the arc that the characters take (especially Mellie) with how they grow with even their other relationships throughout the book (not just the romantic one!) This book was a breath of fresh air in a sea of DNFs for me, so I really enjoyed the whole thing. Thank you, Kerry, for bringing us another great book! Also, I loved that it was a standalone, and that the characters were so new, but yet familiar at the same time.

Put this down for a must read summer book! It is full of twists and turns. It is light and fun. I love the main character sticks to her dreams and does not want to change do fit into anyone else’s plan. There is just the right amount of conflict and drama to keep the book interesting and a major page turner. Are they or are they not? You will just have to read all the way to the end.
