This book is a MUST! After seeing all of the positive reviews, I decided to read this one with my six-year-old and, true to the reviews, he absolutely loved it. It was so fun to be able to explore his curiosity and pick the questions he was interested in. The answers are really thoughtful and concise, so you get to learn something while not spending forever on one question. It's a great way to explore kids' interests without diving too deep into any one topic. I loved the format of the questions and how accessible the answers are. This is a must-have book for any library or teacher that serves K-5th grade. I can see it working great as a bell ringer for teachers--pick a question and answer of the day (with the potential to expand into more research or project-based experiences as time allows) and read to the class. The same would be true for an elementary library -- great for kids but also great for library teachers looking to help kids be curious. This is a must-add to any collection and would also make a great gift for any curious kiddos. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC!

Amazing representation of questions and content that kids will be engaged with and excited about. It is obvious that both the writer and illustrator know what kids will be drawn too visually and thematically. From questions about nose picking, to toilets, and animals, to space travel, this book will work well in classrooms, in libraries, and on at home bookshelves. I hope they do more volumes!!! Greta use of simple back matter as well to introduce kids to parts of nonfiction/reference texts.

There Are No Silly Questions by Mike Rampton is an insightful and entertaining collection of curious questions and clever answers that kids will love. I had a great time reading it with my 10-year-old son—it was both fascinating and lots of fun!

Thank you Netgalley and for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. The opinions written are completely honest and my own.

I now know how many teeth a umbrella slug has and I'm a better person for it.

Great trivia explained at a child's level with humour mixed in. I would highly recommend

I was sent this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. I felt that it had a great premise. Looking at science as a series of questions in search of answers. It took me back to watching Bill Nye the Science Guy as a kid. There was humor in the writing and in the illustrations. The one thing I would have liked was a little more organization in the book. It would be nice if their were sections based on the different sciences. This would make it more useful for student research in a classroom setting.

My kids absolutely adored this book. It expresses an important sentiment I drill into my children already, but in an entertaining sweet way. We will read this again and again.

This is so interesting for children! Anyone who has worked with a child knows they ask endless questions and this book really does provide all of those random and factual answers we just don’t seem to have on hand! Such a great resource for everyone! I cannot wait to use this in my classroom to help get students asking questions!

There Are No Silly Questions is an absolute gem—curious, clever, and completely kid-friendly! Mike Rampton brings real warmth and humor to every page, answering all kinds of offbeat, delightful questions that kids actually do wonder about (trust me, my kids have ask me 75% of the ones in the book!). It celebrates curiosity in the best way, never talking down or brushing things off.

The illustrations are a perfect match—colorful, playful, and packed with visual jokes that keep kids (and grown-ups) engaged. Every page feels like an invitation to keep asking, keep imagining, and keep learning.

It’s informative, hilarious, and totally charming. Five stars for a book that makes asking questions feel exciting and important... and for giving parents everywhere a bit of a break! Thank you, NetGalley!

This book is perfect for kids of all ages, but especially those who are prone to wonder. I work in the children's department at my library and this book will no doubt be a kind of constant companion for young folks with an insatiable need to know more about how the world works. There truly are no silly questions, and this book tackles them all. One section which will no doubt be a favourite of gross science connoisseurs will be the part about dinosaur farts and methane contributing to Jurassic global warming. The beauty of this book is that it doesn't answer all the questions, indeed, no book truly could. It answers a foundation of questions that lay the groundwork for a deep appreciation of science and cultivates a healthy dose of confidence in readers, that the answers are worth seeking for the reward of learning. Definitely a book that belongs in children's collections in libraries, as well as on inquisitive children's bookshelves wherever possible. Thank you to the publisher for an advance e-book copy of this book to read and review!

A very clever and beautifully illustrated book! I wish this book was around when I was younger. It has all the questions I have asked at some point of my childhood. These questions are thought provoking and the answers provided are very concise and well thought out/researched. This book will save parents time from googling answers and will definitely keep a child occupied. The book is also very well organized and questions are grouped by subject. There's a section on dinosaurs, space, and even teeth. I especially love the glossary at the end of the book and the index that lists Questions by Subjects. This is a very good book for curious minds, and it will keep kids thoroughly entertained and their minds active.

Thank you Nosy Crow Inc for this eARC via NetGalley!

I loved this book! Each of the facts are bite-sized and interesting, so you can pick it up and put it down without getting too committed. The illustrations are great as well. Would definitely recommend to any older elementary school-aged child.

This book is so fun! My child loves to ask all kinds of questions. We’re working our way through all the silly questions and she is LOVING it. These are explained in such a child friendly but still educational way.

Visually, every single part of this book was treated with such love, creativity, and care, that it speaks VOLUMES alone before even diving into the text or subject matter. The end page art is a captivating bubblegum pink littered with the cutest penguins you’ve ever seen. The title page is immediately fun, inclusive, and whimsical, with an artsy black man, with yellow plaid printed pants and blue glasses looking into a toilet full of flowers. The whimsy is SEEPING out of every page of this book. The font choice is gorgeous, and the entire work is browsable and personal. It opens with illustrations of both the author and the illustrator, including an on theme question to satiate young readers curiosity, and introduce them to this world without even having gotten into it yet. This book reminds and encourages readers that there are NO silly questions, unless the words in them are total gibberish and don’t make sense. I can’t recommend buying this one for young ones enough, as it’s true art and will keep them captivated and exploring for hours! This read is curious, encouraging, and expertly designed. Each page inspires learners to pick up a NEW book and dive deeper into each subject that may interest them.

I love the curiosity that children have and hate how it starts to die as they take on more responsibility in school. One of my goals as a school librarian is to ignite their curiosity so that it will carry through all of elementary school and hopefully beyond!

It is easy for adults to forget how information is gained throughout childhood. A lot of these are questions children have asked me. I have quite a few students who love any book that is a collection of facts in easily digestible portions.

Add in humorous and engaging illustrations, this book is a slam dunk for the curious minds!

I recommend adding this to elementary school libraries, but I also think that public library collections would benefit from this book. Additionally, this is the perfect gift for the curious kiddos in your life.

Thank you to Net Galley and Nosy Crow for the ARC. All opinions are my own and are influenced by my work with children.
