I really enjoyed this book. The author gives you a good sense of how dangerous it was to be gay in the past while writing an interesting story.

Ms Brown guides you through the lives of these characters with the intrigue necessary to save Lord David's life and free him from the desperate situation he has fallen into. I love this type of plot driven erotica when the sex is hot but it's not the story. The secondary character in this book keeps things even more interesting.

The one thing that bothered me while reading this was the overuse of the word lord, drove me crazy!
