Everything I loved about the first book of the series, “Twice as Dead”, is there in this book. The story is well-told and well-paced; it was difficult to put the book down. The characters and world-building continue to excel and there are many passages so well-written that I would read them over several times. And I still loved the thoughtfulness of the book and noir attitude. Overall this is a great read and I look forward to even more books in the series.
