This is another charming and wholesome entry featuring the lovable duo that fans have adored online. Packed with cute, funny and heart-melting moments, the book celebrates everyday love, friendship and companionship through simple yet expressive comic strips.

Compared to the first book in the series, this volume feels a bit lighter in terms of storyline and emotional progression. It doesn’t carry the same freshness or stronger sense of build-up that made the earlier collection especially memorable. However, as a standalone read, it works wonderfully and delivers exactly what readers would hope for—fun, warmth, humor and plenty of adorable interactions between Milk and Mocha. I liked that Melani chose to show the cultural background of her country, Indonesia. A country which is the most populated Muslim Country in the world but still keeping alive their Hindu cultural heritages dated back from Kutai Kingdom, emerged around the 4th century in East Kalimantan along the Mahakam River. She also mixed this with Modern architecture based on this cultural heritage.

Melani Sie’s expressive artwork is simple yet full of emotion, making every panel feel warm and comforting. This artwork remains delightful and full of personality & tenderness. Milk’s cheerful energy and Mocha’s calm personality create a lovely balance that keeps each page engaging. Same like me and my younger brother.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that some strips feel very brief and repetitive, leaving you wanting a bit more depth or longer story arcs. Still, that simplicity is also part of its appeal.

Overall, while it may sit slightly below the first book in narrative charm, 'Our Little Moments' is still a very good, delightful and entertaining collection. Cute comics & light humor. Perfect for fans of cozy comics and anyone looking for a feel-good read full of smiles, especially for those who appreciates love found in life’s smallest moments.
