Incredibly affirming, liberating, fresh views on theology and the struggles of modern life in the Americas and within Christianity.
For example, the chapter on Sin positing that the narratives in Genesis 1 and 2 regarding humans being created in God's image, and God calling us "very good", should transform our view on "original sin" into a revolutionary one of "original goodness". Along with inheriting Adam & Eve's curses, we've also inherited their innocence present at the first breath of life.
I also really appreciate that nearly all of his "further reading" book recommendations are from women.

My only criticism is of the author HIKING ALONE ON A MOUNTAIN. My anxious heart cannot handle this decision. :)
