★★★★☆ (4.5/5)

This is one of a tender, quietly charming start to what feels like a deeply heartfelt romance. Nogiri brings her signature softness to both storytelling and art, creating a world that feels intimate, warm and emotionally sincere without ever becoming overly dramatic.

The characters are immediately endearing—flawed in realistic ways, yet easy to root for. Their interactions feel natural, with a gentle build-up that makes every small moment, every glance, hesitation and unspoken feeling—carry weight. There’s a comforting smooth flow to the story, allowing readers to truly sit with the emotions rather than rushing through them.

The artwork complements the tone beautifully: expressive, delicate and full of subtle details that enhances the mood of each scene. It’s the kind of shojo manga where silence speaks just as loudly as dialogue.

If there’s any slight drawback, it’s that the plot in this first volume leans more toward setup than progression. Initially, I wasn't in favour of such Brother-sister love books but when I realised while reading that Yui and Hayato were not actually Bro-Sis, I started liking it. Whereas, this theme setup helps establish strong emotional groundwork, some readers might wish for a bit more narrative momentum, but I believe, this also will surely be omitted in next part of the series.

Still, as an opening volume, it’s wonderfully immersive and emotionally engaging. A promising and heartfelt beginning that leaves you eager to see where the story—and the characters—go next.
