it is best that you read book one first because a lot of the plot is based on what happened in it. since i have not read the first book, i found myself lost and confused for most of this one and didn't enjoy that experience at all.

I was in the mood for a book like this but this one didn't crave what I was wanting sadly. There wasn't anything special about it, I didn't hate it but I wouldn't recommend it. I feel like there any better romance's out there.

After reading the first book in this series I was pretty excited to read Second Chances since the first one ended in a cliffhanger but I didn't end up loving it nearly as much as the first. I'm glad I got to see some loose ends tied up. I couldn't keep interested in this one as much. Probably because it had been a little bit after I read the first book.

I really enjoy her writing and look forward to read more of the author!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the book in exchange for an honest review!

Loved loved loved the book. I simply love the whole series. Dying and waiting for the rest of it. From the beginning till the end I couldn’t simply put my kindle down.

I am a fan of other books that have been noted as similar but I didn’t quite enjoy this one as much. Saying that I think if i read the first book it may have helped me understand a little better.

I've recently been seriously craving contemporary New Adult, preferably set in a college  with some hot and steamy romance. I thought FROSH would be the perfect fit and and scratch the New Adult itch.

I'm going to start out by saying that I haven't read the first book, FROSH: First Blush. I searched for it and when I couldn't find it figured I'd just go for it. While there were some things at the very beginning that I didn't fully understand, it didn't take long to catch up. The book is told through multiple POVs, something I usually really enjoy in books. However, I found the four POVs in this book too much. I'd personally have preferred the book focussing on two of the four so there could be more depth to the characters.

There were extra characters in the book that appeared once or twice but really weren't needed. I'd have liked there to be more of these characters, particularly Sorenson, because their presence felt unnecessary.

I liked reading Devon's POV, although I didn't particularly love everything about her I would have read more of her. Grant and Ellie didn't really do much for me. While I appreciate that they were pretty important to the plot, towards the end of the book I started skimming their POVs because I didn't have any investment in them. I must say though that I was slightly annoyed that the book ended when it did. There was a cliffhanger for a couple of the characters, but I don't know if I'm invested enough to read another book.

Although I didn't hate the book, it's not one I'd particularly recommend either. It was a nice New Adult but nothing special and I don't think I'll be reading the next anytime soon.

This was a really fun and quick read. I loved book 1 and book 2 was just as good. I really enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions that happened while reading Second Chances. I do wish we had some conclusions, but I guess I'll just have to wait for book 3.

This is the first time I am reading this author and seems like this book is part of a series, but this story can be read standalone, I haven’t read the previous books and was able to follow the storyline. I felt I was watching a soap , it had a feeling of soap opera-ish romance not broad but not my kind .
Thank you NetGallery for providing me with an ARC of this book.

I read the first book in this series where we first met these characters and I loved it. This one not as much.

This is book #2, in the Frosh series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. To avoid spoilers, and have a better understanding of the series, I recommend reading this in order.

Following the couples of Grant & Ellie, Devon & Charlie, this story continues as we head into further mayhem at school with these adorkable peeps. Grant is through with football and trying to adjust to classes. Charlie is finding he can be more than the nerd.

All the characters must decide if the relationships are worth all the trial and error, to get to the triumph of a solid relationship. Will it be worth it in the end? I was impressed with the pace, the writing, and the solid conflicts. I was excited to turn each page to get to the next parts of the story. I look forward to the next installment in the Frosh series.

I start by saying that I loved the book and I just do not give five stars because I'm very strict about five stars. I loved the chemistry of the couples, it was interesting to see a powerful girl for a change. Usually it is the boy who is rich and powerful and the girl who thinks she does not deserve such a perfect boy. It was refreshing to see this change. I'm looking forward to the third book.

I am a lover of Cora Carmack Rush University series and heard that this series was along those lines so Monica had some big shoes to fill and boy did she step up to the plate and deliver a home run :) This story was filled with steamy love scenes, twisted secret clubs, mean catty girls, and a story line that kept you guess where it was going. However in the end I really did enjoy reading this book and would like to see what else she has going on in this series.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

There's really not much I can say about Frosh: Second Chances.
I saw it on Netgalley and was excited to see the second book in the Frosh series was available to read since quite enjoyed the first book, however this book was not appealing to me.

Unfortunately, I became bored with it and it became a struggle to read. I didn't like the format of the book I had received as it looked as if there was no breaks. Just one LARGE essay. It was hard on the eyes, which made it hard to read. The characters lost their appeal to me and I probably won't be reading the next book in the series.

Second Chances is a continuation of the first book, Frosh. I remember reading Frosh awhile ago and how the author wrote the book to read very much like a soap opera. In her second installment, Second Chances read just as fast, as if you were watching a soap opera on TV. While I did like the fast-paced action and scenes in the book, I felt as if there should have been more details about what happened in the first book. Although you would probably be okay reading Second Chances if you didn't read the first book, parts of the book just felt disjointed. I had to try really hard to remember what had happened in the first book to overlook some of these parts.

In Second Chances, the reader had points of views from many characters. Some knew each other well, while others were acquaintances by chance. While the title Second Chances might indicate a second chance at a relationship, I felt that with so many characters narrating the book it was hard to really feel as if the two main characters, Grant and Ellie were really trying hard to get "back together". Sure, there were moments where you felt as if they still cared for each other and perhaps Grant wanted Ellie back more. But there just wasn't enough urgency, I suppose, between these two to warrant a need to have that "second chance". Although, one could look at the entire book and consider it as all the main characters wanting a second chance at life. Some of them did horrible things while others just wanted to get out of the rut they were stuck in.

If you're interested in a soap opera-ish romance, with college kids then you might enjoy this book. There are a bit of swearing in this book which wasn't really necessary and some gratuitous sex scenes in there that weren''t too bad or graphic.

I found the writing style interesting and at first a little confusing to read but as the story progressed and the plot developed much easier to catch on. The main characters were funny, each dealing with their own issues (which is very relatable) The relationship dynamic between so many characters in one book felt a little chaotic at times but I really appreciated the point of view of each of them. It told a much more complete plot. The love and loss was so delicate and well written. I love the story between Ellie and Grant. Grant is really just a phenomenal, alpha male, who's unwilling to fail. He wants redemption on his own terms and is unwilling to compromise the safety of his "Elli."
*Swoon*
I recommend you read the books in order!
Overall a great read! Can't wait for the next installment.

I enjoyed this book but I recommend reading book 1 because I missed alot of what's going on because I thought it was a S.A..
Still a good book. Really liked Grants character and a good message about dealing with Bullies

It is wonderful when you get a second chance at love or to make a difference and fix things but with university kids, it's much more than that there is a lot of pride and peer pressure along the way. For Grant and Ellie, this was an opportunity to make things right and try to salvage what they once had. But it wasn’t as simple as that with the drugs factor still raising its ugly head with their football team, and their so called friend's interference, it was one mighty uphill battle for them. This book was an interesting read giving insights into College and University life, the storyline was an okay one but what gave this book substance for me was the romance between Ellie and Grant.

I lost my interest in the story so I did not finish this book.

I gave it a chance but I just couldn't get into it like I wished I could.

Didn't finish. I struggle with the format of the book and plot.
