Author has built a team of marketing experts and is investing more than $20,000 in an extensive 12-month marketing plan that begins in November 2016 and will continue six months past the book’s April 1 release date.

Key elements include:

· Publicity: National publicity firm, Buoyancy Public Relations, has been retained to provide publicity for the book launch and post-launch.

o Reviews:

§ Advanced Reading Copies are being printed in November and sent out for trade and consumer reviews.

§ NetGalley will be used to elicit other reader reviews

§ Bloggers and other reviewers will be contacted for pre-release and post-release reviews

o Media publicity:

§ News releases will be issued at periodic intervals to Christian media and other media outlets including newspapers, magazines, radio and television programs which appeal to the target audience for this book.

§ Pitches and follow up to obtain media interviews will be initiated for key media targets in months before and after the book launch

· Author PlatformWebsite

o Professionally designed website will build brand awareness for author and book.

o In addition to author and book info, site to include book trailer, blog posts, and media center and links to other articles and media coverage

o Author plans participation with new Facebook page, LinkedIn account, and Twitter both pre and post launch

· Advertising and e-mail marketing:

o Book Fun magazine (circulation 500,000 readers). Author writing monthly articles Nov 2016 – April 2017 to build awareness of him, with ads to be followed from April- Sept 2017.

o Ads planned for Christian Retailing (minimum of 6 monthly ads)

o Ads in Parable and Munce catalogs

o Facebook and Google ads to be added after book launch

o Weekly email blasts to 25,000 opt-in pastors through Inspire for a one-month promotion

· Tradeshows/conventions:

o Book will be included in trade shows including International Christian Retail Show, Frankfurt book show and others to be determined.

o If available, author may travel to shows for interviews and other book representation.

· Book signings and events:

o The author, who is a pastor, will have several author signings in bookstores in the Seattle area, and later possible speaking events in the area in the months following the book launch.

· Ongoing marketing plan development – Author has hired additional marketing consultants and additional elements are expected to be added to this preliminary plan over time.
