What a sweet holiday read. Lauren and Gabe's story was witty and fun. Something perfect to get me in the holiday mood. Lauren is staying with her brother for the holidays and Gabe is his friend in town for a visit. They hit it off and have to hide from her brother who is very protective of her. Through a series of dares, they get to know each other and want what they have to last longer than a few days. Gabe and Lauren are so fun as they get to know each other. They have the kind of passion where they want to kill each other and then rip each other's clothes off. I loved their dares and all of the things they did together. And of course, Lauren's cause that Gabe helps her with is to raise money for a no kill animal shelter. A cause near and dear to my heart. I thought it was a great read.
