It's always good to be reminded of how God cares for us, but perhaps never more so than when we are grieving. When you're deeply grieving it's sometimes hard for anything to penetrate the darkness that surrounds you, but God's word can find the tiniest crack in that darkness and it can begin to lead you back into the light.
I know because I lived in that darkness for several years after the death of my son. I clung to God and to His word, sometimes by a mere thread, but clinging nonetheless. I think it would have been a comfort to have this book at that time.
If you know someone who is grieving, consider giving this book to them. Who knows, you could be the one who shines a little light into their darkness!
