A very nice devotion book that helps gets your day off to a good start! I recommend this to adult women wanting to start their day off with scripture.

The Heart-Shaped Life daily devotional by Karen Moore is a beautiful, inspiring book. Each day, dated for the entire year, begins with a scripture verse or two, continues with a one-page homily and ends with a short prayer of application. The devotionals are easily applicable to one's daily life and are focused on subjects of the heart and spirit. "Create in me the desire to be a more loving person in faithful service to You." "You are a part of God's way for making the world a better place." "If your heart is broken...go back to the Source of your strength." With encouraging words like these examples, the author challenges readers to learn to develop a heart that overflows with the life of Christ. A wonderful book to start one's day or to give as a gift.

There is a devotion for ever day of the year including February 29th which I loved. So many devotionals leave that day out unless published in a leap year. The format of each devotion is title, verse, devotion then prayer. These are a great way to start your day or pick up at anytime really. You have the verse and reflection to think on throughout the day helping you to stay close to God. Another thing that I liked was the variety of translations, most devotionals stick to one bible translation throughout which is fine but when it's not your favorite it's a little "meh". Overall it's a really great devotional that I can see myself using regularly.

The Heart-Shaped Life Daily Devotional: Choosing a Life of Steadfast Love One Day at a Time, by Karen Moore is a delightful devotional book.

In the introduction, the author shared, "God offers you His kind and generous Spirit so you can stay healthy in heart and mind. He nourishes your soul and shapes your heart so you become more like Jesus.... May God grant your heart's desires and help you to live a heart shaped life."

Each daily devotion features the title, scripture verse, devotional text, and prayer. Also, a Scripture Index is included at the end of the book. Since the devotions are listed by date, it's ideal to start this book on January 1, yet readers may easily start the devotional at any time throughout the year.

The Heart-Shaped Life Daily Devotional is geared towards women of all ages, from young adults to older generations. With one devotional per page, this book may easily be added to your current personal devotional time or it's a a great way to start setting aside time each day to spend with God.

The Heart Shaped Life Daily Devotional is a sweet devotional. It gives you Scriptures and then it gives you an allegory for that Scripture verse. This is a little different though - the analogy is not just this boring off the cuff everyday analogy but these analogies:

1. apply to the Scripture given.
and
2. Is heartfelt and very thought out like the author truly wants you to know GOD's heart in the little time you have.
Usually devotionals are short but sweet and to the point and generic and similar to each other and some are hit and runs if you know what I mean - This devotional is the total opposite of all those devotionals you have read - it is unreal - it gets you thinking and feeling - ya'll know what I mean - Amen? This is so much fun to read - you will love this devotional.

The Heart-Shaped Life Daily Devotional: Choosing a Life of Steadfast Love One Day at a Time by Karen Moore is a wonderful devotion book. One page is specific to each day of the year. I have found this book to be a beautiful love centered reflection of God and His will for our lives.

This is a 365 day devotional, plus it has one for Leap Year, February 29. Each day has a title, a Scripture verse, then the devotional, and ending with a short prayer. Each devotional is centered around love how God fits into our lives and our hearts.

The colors of the cover and the inside are beautiful and eye-catching. There is a ribbon bookmark as well, which is a nice touch. In the back of the devotional is a scripture index for the texts used in the devotional. I felt the devotions did a great job having thought provoking devotions that can be read quickly for the busy individual, but leave the reader thinking about them throughout the day. Each devotion is relevant and inspiring.
