Description
My name is Lana Ingram, and I can tell when people are lying. It got me kicked out of high-school, go figure. My mom's kinda weird, my sister social-media famous and my boyfriend is the best. Then Kellen shows up—tall, dark, way too handsome, carries weapons—and my life takes a fairy tales turn...

I really enjoyed the Mermaid Trouble and could easily contact to the characters. My only complaint is it was to short, I could have kept reading and was disappointed that it ended to soon. I looked forward to reading the second book.
Mermaids, fae, wolves, and apples abound in this new take on fairy tales. What if a fairy tale was happening and only a hunter could stop it? Would you step up and be that hunter?
Lana is a surf loving human lie detector who gets roped into hunting a fae creating fairy tales. With a sword, a hot fae, and a boyfriend on the side this book is a must read. The characters are all well developed and lovable. You find yourself needing to read the next book right after finishing this one.
I enjoyed the plot of the story (like mermaid stories), but I didn't enjoy the fact that Lana had been kicked out of school and din't enjoy her unrealistic, chaotic home life. Also, I thin the s word was used a bit too much
Captivating and unique plot that caught my attention from page one and hooked me right into the book. I loved it and would recommend it to everyone. This was a one sit read for me. The characters were well developed and the mystery well delivered. I can hardly wait for the sequel
