The Vets at Hope Green: Part Four

Wow! What an end to beautiful book! I fell in love with the characters in the book and the village and just enjoyed every part of this.

So many bombshells happened throughout the book and it kept me in suspense as to what was going to happen next for the characters.

I was lucky enough to read the advanced review copies of the 3 parts of The Vets at Hope Green that came before this part and I loved them all. What went through my mind while I was reading this was that I was happy to be reading it but that I didn't want it to end. Part 4 was just as good as the other parts of the book and kept me hooked until the last word on last page. Sheila Norton is a marvelous storyteller and The Vets at Hope Green and its characters, plot and storyline will stay with me forever. It is now one of my favorite books and one I encourage you to read if you like stories about building a new life, romance family drama and characters many people will identify with. The Vets at Hope Green Part Four is the final instalment in Sheila Norton's serialised novel.

With Sam's pregnancy advancing she is still juggling working as a receptionist for Joe in his vets surgery, living with her grandmother and trying to ward off the romantic advances of her friend David. After attending a call at a local farm with Joe, she helps to deliver 9 piglets and begins to wonder if she'll be able to cope once her baby is born.

The ending of this book is lovely and heartwarming. I've really enjoyed this series and the main characters, Sam, Joe and of course Nana are ones that really stay with you. I can definitely recommend the full length version of this book.

This is the fourth and final instalment in this serialised novel. The book will be released with all 4 parts together later in the year.

I have been lucky enough to have read all 4 parts of this book pre-release. Part 3 was left on a cliff-hanger and I thought I would have to wait until it was released before I was able to finish the story, but luckily Part 4 was given to me in exchange for an honest review!

In this instalment we find out how Joe copes after a devastating loss. We also find out if Sam manages to stick at the job as the vet’s receptionist – a job that she obviously loves, but gets harder with Joe’s ever increasing bad moods. Can Sam make her dream of becoming a vet a reality, or is being a mother going to put a stop to that?

This was a lovely end to a lovely story. The characters are lovely (yes, even Grumpy Joe the Vet) and you can’t help but fall in love with them all. There is a new addition to the village as well when Sam’s baby is born, but things are never easy and the birth is definitely one to remember. There are tears of sadness and tears of joy. It was a shame the story ended (although I’m hoping there will be a second book….please!!). I’ve really enjoyed reading this story, and would definitely recommend this book, although I would have preferred to have read it in one sitting, as opposed to 4 different parts! It was a sweet, easy, heart-warming read that whisked you away from reality just for a little while! What more could you want!

I consider myself very fortunate because I have been able to read all the instalments of this book prior to release. I have been looking forward to this final part due to the mega cliffhanger on part three.

I’m so fond of the characters by now, Sam, Nana, David, Joe it’s like catching up with old friends for a gossip. Time is moving on, Sam is nearing her expected date for the baby. Nan is her usual lovely self, she dotes on Sam. David is becoming a bit of a nuisance, he adores Sam but the feelings aren’t mutual.

Joe the Vet is just as abrupt and grumpy but is there a softer side to him beneath all the gruffness ? Anything to do with animals I adore so the birth of some piglets was a highlight.

Still plenty of action in this book, but it ties everything up beautifully and left me feeling very satisfied. I’m sure when it comes out as a full length novel it will be enjoyed by many. While novella’s can be frustrating this worked really well in four parts each one bought something different and I connected with each person, the cosy village atmosphere and the writing style.

Such an easy, pleasant read I would highly recommend. Now I’m left wondering what I have to look forward to next by this author.

This is the final part of the charming story, The Vets at Hope Green, and I had to say I've enjoyed the story from the first page to the last. This final part was great, I loved the characters anyway and the pace again for this is spot on. I loved the ending and its just a lovely heartwarming story. Highly recommended.

This is the fourth and final part in The Vets at Hope Green series of ebooks and it has been such a delightful book series, I have thoroughly enjoyed being charmed by this wonderful, warm, cosy romance.

We continue with Sam’s journey settling into life in the idyllic coastal village of Hope Green in Dorset. Sam’s life since moving to the village has been quite an emotional one and with her pregnancy progressing her life is soon going to be turned upside. Emotions are running high at the vets both personally and professionally. Joe the vet and Sam’s boss, has been called to an emergency at a local pig farm, one of the pregnant sow’s is struggling with her birth. The only assistant available to help is Sam so they both rush to the farm to help. However, whilst at the farm another emotive event is unfolding. Can Joe save the day again?

This was such a wonderful finale to a gorgeous book series that has totally wrapped itself around my heart. Perfect reads for lazy days and with the sun now making its appearance this story would be ideal to read whilst enjoying the countryside on a picnic. Delightful and charming 5/5*

Great end to a super series a really sweet book i enjoyed all of these

As I have grown attached to the characters at Hope Green I was pleased with the final part of the story. It seemed shorter than the other sections and as part three had left us with a cliffhanger I was surprised that Nana's problem was brushed away so quickly. In fact the whole section just seemed to run on swiftly to it's inevitable happy ending.

The Vets at Hope Green has been a warm and endearing read that drew me in and I hope that there will be a follow up book in the not too distant future.

I have just finished reading this and what a drama! This is certainly an eventful finale! All the loose ends are tied up and all those things left unsaid are spoken out loud, and what a perfectly sweet and lovely end to the story. Anyone who has enjoyed the previous episodes will be left smiling, and anyone wondering if this series is worth reading should give it a go. It is gentle, but Sheila Norton’s books have a charm I can’t resist and plenty of four legged characters to keep animal lovers like me happy. I won’t give any spoilers – I hope you enjoy the ending as much as I did!

This is the final part in the vets at hope green and it doesn't disappoint. After we were left on another cliff hanger in part three this part sees everything tied together nicely with no loose ends. Sam is busy balancing work with looking after Nanna as well as getting bigger by the day and still trying to cope with Joes odd moods. I'm not going to go into the ending too much as I don't want to spoil it for anyone but it was very eventful to say the least. I like Sheila's writing style as it's quite laid back but quite a lot happens and feel like there should be another series based around someone else in hope green but maybe that's because I'll miss this little village series and the likeable characters that live in it. This has been a fab set of books and would recommend to anyone.
