-3 also happens to be the number of times I exited said taxi, uttered some unceremonious epithet at said driver, walked into a bar, ordered an alcoholic beverage, lit up a smoke, held now delivered elixir up in the air, and thanked the Lord I survived the ride

-Choked down smog during the obligatory tuk-tuk ride 5 times

-Rented scooters on foreign soil 5 times

-1 = number of scooter crashes. Minor road rash and lifelong permanent “artwork” included

-8 = number of times I scuba dove; which led to

-258 = number of times giggled with glee underwater

-Gleefully zip-lined on the world’s longest run, 900 meters over a jungle valley

-2 ecstatic whitewater rafting adventures through jungles
