Fun collection of romance horror stories with zombies, ghosts, vampires, and some other creatures that go bump in the night. I enjoyed pretty much all of the stories and even thought that some could have been longer.

This was a great, fantastic collection of horror stories with a touch of romance. It has zombies, vampires, ghosts, and other scary spooky monsters and creatures. This was fantastic and hope she writes more!

I am not a huge Gone With the Wind fan (please don't throw rocks), but I am in love with the antebellum south. And if you read many of my reviews, you know I love a good paranormal story line. So this anthology of short stories truly felt like a good fit for me. I enjoy reading anthologies because I get introduced to several authors at one time. There was not one author in this group that I had heard about before reading this. Now I'm in love with each one of them and added several to my TBR.

Not everyone likes short stories, but I love them. I honestly think they are harder to write because there is limited space to tell the story. Each one of these authors did a fantastic job of creating powerful stories that started with a bang and ended with an even bigger bang. The plots moved fast, the characters were well-developed, and the stories felt original. It's hard to say which were my favorites. There was only one I could not finish and that was no because it was written badly. In fact, it was written so well it gave me the willies. It was about bugs and I hated bugs. If a gun was held to my head and I had to pick two, I would pick "A Piece of Him" and "A Ferocious Blossom". But trust me when I say all these stories are good. It would be fun to read some of these for a Halloween book club.

A very good parody of Gone With The Wind. Some scary, some fun, all enjoyable.
I usually don't like zombies per se but this book was an exception

Oh my what a book. It's hot and steamy along with scary. I honestly cannot pick one story I liked the most. I love reading paranormal and I love the south. With this book coming from Atlanta it was kind of like going home. I was raised about 20 minutes from Atlanta. I loved that these were short stories. Some I wish had of been a bit longer a few felt like they were rushed. Some I would love to read a whole book on. I was able to read this book without staying up late. I read a story here and there over a couple of days and my house still got cleaned, things were tended to and I got my reading in.

There are 16 stories in the book. They feature all types of Paranormal from ghosts to vampires and everything in between. Great read any time of the year but great during the Halloween season.
