What an entertaining book, at so many levels!
The Ninja Turtles have been so beloved by my elementary students for such a long time and the interest still exists as strongly as when they first appeared. The characters are still so familiar to young and older readers alike and this book goes a step beyond by providing life lessons simultaneously.
The Turtles, along with Splinter, Shredder, and an abundance of bad and good figures, remind the readers that virtues such as discipline, tradition and friendship are so necessary for success in life. Such ideology permeates the book alongside colorful illustrations of the Ninja characters. What especially impressed me was that the book left the reader with such important ideas as what makes someone stand out makes you special at the same time.
This is a clever and satisfying addition to the Ninja Turtles genre.
