I loved Beth's book Thursdays at Coconuts and so I really looked forward to reading Sleeping with Elvis. I was not disappointed. She takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions and some very scary situations. I too loved the cursing parrot.....as the actual recipient of many a rant from said parrot I can truly say Beth caught him to perfection.....both attitude and potty mouth. Very enjoyable read! She did make me hungry for a multitude of Florida food favorites....so I can't say it's a good book to read if you're on a diet! Do yourself a favor....go off the diet for a few days and read the book. Then go get a key lime pie.....diet later!
