I grew up watching Marvin Scott on WPIX. This book was like a trip down memory lane. I remember some of the interviews that he speaks about in this outstanding book. This book was an awesome read. To read about Mr. Scott's interactions with Dr. King, his writings on 9/11., interviewing Jerry Lewis and bringing Christmas to the troops was very heartwarming. The stories are short but convey enough to give you a feel of when the story was original reported. He gives background that is very precise and to the point. I enjoyed this book spo much until I was sad when it ended. I hope Mr. Scott will do a second and third book. I for one will read them. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.
