Losing Game picks right up where Winning Ace left off - and kept on running! I loved how determined Cash was to win back Tally and the depths he was willing to go to get her. I LOVE a committed alpha and he is definitely that. The dynamic that was set up between him and Tally because of his secret (no spoilers) was fantastic - it was good to see them working as a team. The same banter and heat that I enjoyed in the previous installment was in Losing Game and I think I may have enjoyed this one even more since I was more familiar with the characters. Tracie Delaney kept the twists and turns coming and I loved that, her writing really elevates the Sports Romance sub-genre and it makes me look forward to book 3. I give Losing Game 4.25 out of 5 wine glasses.

Initially the characters of Cash and Tally frustrated me but they have definitely matured since the last book. I get frustrated by how frequently these two misunderstand and mistrust one another.
The story itself drew me in quickly and it didn't take long to reacquaint myself with the secondary characters and events from book one despite it being a few months between books.
Knowing there are 3 books in the series, the last part of Losing Game wasn't a huge shock. I won't go into detail so it isn't spoilt for others. I will say that Tracie Delaney does a good job of writing realistic reactions and emotional responses from all of these characters.
I'm looking forward to book 3. I just hope there's a lot less miscommunication in that one.

A good story, very well written with great characters. You find yourself rooting for the main characters in this story and you can't help but taking each step they make with them. Was a very enjoyable read and will be on the look out for more by this author

Losing game picks up where we left off in Winning Ace. Cash knows his secrets are not going to remain a secret forever but he will do anything he has to do to win Tally back. Tally is still hiding away trying to regroup from the devastation she suffered from those pictures. This book goes from the two being separated to trying to get back what they lost to dealing with life changing moments. It was good an was hooked in again. I know your gonna be as miserable as I am with the ending because of course we are left with another hanger.

Losing Game continues Cash and Tally’s beginning romantic relationship into deeply troubled waters. It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words — but only if those words are truth. Sometimes pictures lie, or don’t come close to telling the entire truth. Tally has to decide what to believe, especially when Cash won’t let her go easily. There are secrets to be revealed that will place a heavy burden on this couple and their future. The trouble with secrets is they usually, eventually are revealed at the worst possible moment. Their personal lives and Cash’s professional life is on the line. Now is when the hard part of love comes into play… stand by each other or walk away. Love’s not always easy, but it’s so worth the risks.

It would be far too easy to give away spoilers, so all I’m going to say is that Losing Game is an emotional look at the devastation of keeping secrets can bring about. Trust is such a large part of any relationship and this will test their trust so deeply. The moment you think they are on a smooth sailing path something else hits them. It’s definitely an emotional read, quick to grab your attention and drawn out as to the eventual resolution. While their eventual future will be revealed in Grand Slam, this story gives us a good understanding of their middle ground and what they had to face, together, in order to keep love alive. Expect twists and turns, sexy moments and a love to be tested.

I enjoyed my time in Tally and Cash’s world and would recommend this story to any Romance reader.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Losing game is a winner! This is the second book in the Winning Ace series featuring Tally and Cash that starts off where book 1 left off and keeps going full speed ahead! Another cliffhanger until book 3 comes out, but wow, so worth the read -- can't wait for the epic conclusion of this series! Steamy, sexy, sweet, fun and emotional -- what more could you want! Highly recommended!

This is the second in the series of The Winning Ace and I think you really need to read the first novel before reading this one as it follows straight on.

This book had me smiling happily, and also had me in tears – I was very emotionally attached to both Cash and Tally. I loved this book. 5*

Exciting and wonderfully heartbreaking. Tracie Delaney has swept me off my feet once again with Cash Gallagher setting up the bar so high I might not be able to get married in the future.

Know that I am trying hard to recall the earlier events of this book because everything is being overshadowed by the events of the end of this book.

Cash Gallagher is now a changed man, with A LOT of changes to his life he's coping rather well. Tally is also adjusting to her new life as well. They're both kind of messy but they balance each other out. The thing I love about their relationship is they never give on on each other. For 7-8 months since they'd first met they know each other more than some couples who have dated for longer. Their arguments don't last long. Natalia has a habit of kneeling in front of Cash when things start to go downhill and Cash immediately apologizes when he steps out of line.

The other thing I love about this book is how I'm able to go to different places without having to leave my room and without costing me a dime. Plus I get to have a taste of new things without actually having first hand experienced but it is said through Tally's perspective.

If you haven't read this book yet or you've read Winning Ace but unsure to read Losing Game, I tell you, you have to. You have to pick it up and go in the amazing journey Cash and Tally (in the hands of Tracie) have in store. So many secrets will be revealed, new characters come to play, old characters return, so much love and so much heartbreak. This book has lived up to my wishes where it plays with my feelings.

SPOILER ALERT

"I love you so much, more than I ever thought myself capable of loving anyone. I'm barely half a person without you in my life. I want you to stop with the self-loathing, because when you attack yourself, you attack me and the depth of my feelings for you."

There were parts where plot lines were predictable, or at least to me they were predictable but I don't hate them. I wanted to see how they're play out and it was great.

-I always knew Cash would get in an accident. I just get this gut feeling since he's the world's best tennis player, something bad has to happen to him to keep things interesting.
-I knew at some point he was going to propose. It did catch me off guard though, I wasn't overthinking things with their date so I never saw it coming.
-When Cash and Tally decided to take a night stroll in Paris I knew something was going to happen. For a moment I thought a thief would be their problem but that's too light, but SOMETHING was going to happen. Gut feeling.
-When that big incident happened I actually thought he was gonna lose his memory and I took it back as soon as Tally's dream came up. I realized it would be too painful for Tally and me as a reader. But with that happening, and this, I sensed Tally was gonna leave at some point.

"And then she knew. She held his fragile heart as tightly as he held hers. They were bound together by love. Both would be easily destroyed should that love be torn away."

Oh my heart is just in pieces right now. Is it October 11 yet?
5 stars all the way! It was perfectly painful!
