This is a fun book full of optical illusions, mind games, tricks that your brain plays on you, and so much more. With lots of in-depth explanations as to how the brain works its magic, touching on neuropsychology, it's a fascinating read. You'll find yourself reading the book whilst trying out all of the exercises without even realising! Each page is packed full of information, full of fun images, and with plenty to digest. A great all-round book for teens.
I found myself wanting to tell people what I was learning as I read this book ( and I did to anyone within earshot ). I recommend this book. It's informative with a very appealing layout.
Wow! I have a group of students that are going to love this book! Not only are there lots of optical illusions, tricks, and puzzles, Brown has loaded this book with fantastic information about the brain's form and function. This might be a great nonfiction addition for summer reading.
