The pure white snow turned red…
The 24th of October, 1932.
WWI veteran Lester Rupert is living the hard life - as an aimless wanderer in the American South - thirteen years after perpetrating a horrific crime. One of his accomplices has fled with all the money, to eventually become a politically influential recluse, leaving Lester with little else but vengeance on his mind.
As the former partners’ lives go haywire once again, Lester finds himself in bitter conflict with his powerful nemesis, at the same time desperately trying to run away from a past which continues to haunt him. But he comes to realize how little it takes to fall back into the same old habits.
Can Lester survive the inevitable confrontation with the ghosts of mistakes past?
