Description

When a wild mustang is shot in Montana, renowned horse whisperer and telepath, Emma Horserider, is called in to calm the herd and find out what happened. Once on scene she is almost killed by a bullet-spewing drone, and calls her black ops brother for back-up.

Emma's help roars into her life covered in tattoos and riding a Harley. Remote viewer Bronco Winchester takes the assignment because he is ordered to, but he wonders what type of assistance, his boss's sister needs. That is until he sees Emma, a valiant Warrior Woman proud of her Crow heritage.

Posing as a married couple, Emma and Bronco go undercover to infiltrate and stop a hate group. Both are anxious enough without the now growing attachment they feel for one another. When the lives of many are on the line, they are not sure if they will live or die—let alone have a chance at love.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
Don't let the title scare you!
This is a love story.
Both are Alphas in their own domain, and when they meet, sparks fly.
Emma is a strong woman, and will not be left out of the action.
Bronco wants to protect Emma, but he knows when to step aside.
They infiltrate a Neo-Nazi camp to gather Intel.
They are going into danger, but they want to do their part to stop these haters.
They were attracted to each other from the begging.
It was fun to watch how they finally admit that they were in love w/ each other.
Love the storytelling + the characters.

Bronco is not a shy, bashful man, "when he dropped his jeans and kicked them aside, his erection stood at attention, proud and free. Her eyes danced with admiration—and mischief. “Turn around,”she ordered. “I need to see where you were chafed.” This was a good read I liked it.

With Legacy of Evil, I feel as if I’m reviewing for two groups now, mystery and thriller fans, and romance fans. Paranormal fans too, but they fit into either category.
So lets get all that out of the way. Romance fans, y’all are in luck, great romance and hot sex.
Mystery and thriller fans, y’all are in luck too. A well researched story based on some actual hardcore crap. (I’m keeping this clean for future Amazon review)
Paranormal fans, there’s actually a lot of paranormal stuff going on in this book. Readers who are beginning to turn up y’alls pert little noses, stop right there. Much of the background in this book is based on actual honest-to-gosh paranormal research done by the CIA, with some interesting or some heartbreaking results. Ms Buchbinder kindly provides her sources. Kudos to Ms Buchbinder for making the paranormal government unit under Homeland Security. In paranormal fiction, the FBI is filled to the freaking brim with paranormal units. In fact I’m surprised there is room for any normal Special/Agents left in the FBI.
Someone is killing wild mustangs with a drone outfitted with an AR 15. Emma Horsefeather aims to stop it; she is a horse whisperer and deeply felt the loss of the mustangs, especially the one that sacrificed her life to save Emma.
Emma contacts her brother who is head of a special unit of paranormals at Homeland Security. He is alarmed by the killings as they have the earmark of either domestic terrorism or foreign terrorism. The drone is especially frightening to SAC Horsefeather because the drone seems to be operated from a long distance away and there is no trace of stolen satellite time. The attacks become especially frightening when bald eagles and then some Crow children are attacked.
Brian sends out Bronco Winchester, a Homeland Security agent, with remote viewing skills. Together Emma and Bronco try to infiltrate a group setting up a huge compound on a former military installation. Don’t think this is far-fetched. Right now, the Alt-Right is trying to make great inroads into Montana. In some areas they are being rejected with disgust and actually helping to bring disparate areas of a town together.
Emma and Bronco are aided by a former ghost-hard to explain that one-a current ghost and an actual human. All this is kinda fun.
Ms Buchbinder knows how to write an amusing book with deadly serious themes strewn about.
Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Emma and Bronco (Brandon) make an interesting couple, although a little strange. A lot going on in this book, and at times hard to keep track. First I've read in the series, which probably explains the confusion. Hints of a time travel? there are ghosts, there are animal telepathy (say what?) and telekinesis by a blind guy. Throw in Neo-Nazis and anti-government and there is a lot to follow. Not a bad book, and I wanted to see how it ends, but felt a little disjointed at times. Would still recommend, but would probably not read twice.

This was a really enjoyable paranormal romance it is the second book in the series but can easily be read as a standalone.Emma is an ex-marine who is a horse whisperer and a telepath when she goes to calm a herd of horses and is shot at, she calls her brother for help and he sends in Brandon who is also a telepath to his cat to help her when they meet the attraction is off the charts, but how long will they be able to fight it?This was a really good read with plenty of action I really enjoyed it

This was a nice story, it just didn’t grab my attention, it was obvious the author but a lot of time and effort into the research for this story and it was very well written, I just wasn’t totally invested in the story.
