A big thank you to NetGalley and Wild Rose Press for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. First time reading this author.. I was a little confused at the beginning and I felt it was a little slow. It sort of felt like the 2nd book. I did think it was a good read, regardless of my confusion. I am not sure how old she is and how did she afford pilot's lessons. It's a unique viewpoint which I liked. Hints to a second book which I would read. A bit of mystery, romance, violence. Something for everyone. I rate it a 3.75.
I was given this book by it's publisher in return for an honest review.
This is my first time reading one of this author's books, and I am impressed. The writing was high quality, with no visible errors. The storyline was engaging, interesting and unique. The depth of the main characters, even with minimal backstory implies fits author is very in tune with her subjects. My only Cookman is that the story is short and a quick read. I will gladly be giving her books much more of my tike. Solid 4.5 from me.
This is one of these stories where everything works really well together to give you a great time. The characters, the pace, the plot even the side characters was great.
