Description

Vani Mikudai is anything but a normal teenage girl. A terrible power sleeps inside her, and though she tries to hide it, others can sense the dark energy. Before she can figure out what lies within, the ones who feel her power begin plotting to kill her.

When a mysterious book fully awakens her powers, she is transformed into a tsukatta, a monster she thought only existed in fairytales. Unable to control the spirit that resides in her body, Vani kills the first man to confront her.

Vani must either flee or embrace her newfound powers. But the book did more damage than she first realized, and when the danger escalates, she is forced to find a way to tame the beast inside her. Should she fail, the ones who hunt her will take away not only her life, but her brother’s as well.

This was my first book by this author, im a little conflicted on my feelings, it wasnt at all like i thought it would be. It was fast paced and just alltogether an easy read. For now I give this book a 3 star rating!

I received a copy of Princess Tails by S.L. Haldi from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was intrigued by the summary and really wanted to like this novel, but the storyline could have been pulled together better and the characters developed better.

The concept of the story was interesting but I don't think the story was set up very well and I couldn't connect with the main character very well.
